Water from the beach is the reason you have unknown creatures in your tank.they decided they wanted a human life and went along for the ride when you scooped up that beach water😂
They will make a very interesting cave system I have a pair as well and if you give them shells and small pieces of rock the pistol will actually use them as roofs to his tunnels or doors to their main cave
Maybe one day I’ll get into salt water aquariums, but for now I’m perfectly happy with my 10 gallon solo betta tank, and my 5 gallon shrimp and betta tank, along with my purely blue dream shrimp only 4 gallon, gonna have to maybe start selling because the shrimp are doing too well in there lol.
If you want I just set up a 20 gallon with betta cardinal tetras and soon adding catfish in that 10 gallon you could probably add 8 cardinal tetras if you wanted to😊
Just worth noting frostbite clownfish do not naturally occur in the wild, these are members of the ocellaris clownfish species that have been selectively bred in captivity to look like that
Some people would think this tank is fine for like a whole pet store worth of goldfish (referring to like people who buy their 3 big goldfish a five gallon tank and fill it with nothing and call it good.) Also those clownfish are absolutely stunning!!
I saw your short about kiju getting a new friend, you could get a fish like kiju's old friend but like with pets like cats and dogs it would be best to introduce them slowly, so that kiju gets used to the new fish.
First time I’ve seen under water plants that look like they belong in the desert 🌵 I hope they’re not as spiky as they look 💀 like something a butcher shrike would put to use
you dont need to use ammonia to cycle when you are using live ocean water. The necessary bacteria double in volume every day. the difference is what number you start at. Most cycling knowledge assumes you are starting bare bones
It is live rock, pieces of long-dead coral skeletons that have become encrusted in life. Many of these organisms are beneficial in aquaria, such as the brittle star (those tentacles in the rock) at the end of the video which consumes uneaten food.
Apsasia? Could be bc you took ocean water instead of making a clean parasite free environment.. which you can easily. Its never recommended to take water from rivers or oceans to start a tank.. but its ok ill just unsubb
You probably got a worm with the rocks , live rock I got at a fish store fast forward 5 years I had a 4 foot worm that ate any and everything almost impossible to catch you need to wait for it to enter live rock then remove it and smash the rock up
For anyone wondering thats a brittle star they wave their hands around like that trying to catch food particles floating in the water
Thx bro
Thank god, for a moment I thought he’d accidentally acquired a bobbit worm.
Are they pests?
What is a bristle star? A brittle star?
@@EmEm78 no
I put my pistol shrimp & goby in over a month ago. Still haven’t seen him. I hear his peew peew every now and then though. So I know he’s somewhere.
ROFL he's somewhere
I got a pistol shrimp a few years ago and now I got served a warrant for his arrest so he's around somewhere
Haha same going on 6 weeks for me I just here the popping
They all eventually came to the front. They change and dig in different areas

I think he would see the brittle star in the water he scooped up…he probally just got it from the fish store and acted like he didn’t for content

@@Bob-o5z5w My 10 gallon betta basically owns the tank since he wont tolerate shrimps and he attacks snails I figured he prefers it to be his space.
WELL NOW I WANNA KNOW WHAT THE TENTECLES ARE?!
I mean... it's pretty obvious dude.
It's a bristle star
understandable, must be a baby giant squid@@candacefullrv9291
I think it's an octopus
oooo a mini octopus for the tank would be cool :0@@chunkydino6252

Yea so?
@@dimitrijekrstic7567 kind of a rude response, i was just sharing info dude
Clownfish color morphs are one of the nicer examples of selective breeding. They haven't gone the way of goldfish yet thankfully
@@snakewithapen5489 yeah but they've gone the way of the betta fish atm, iirc theyre being bred to have long fins aswell sometimes
Bobby and the Pistol Shrimp are cool. 😊
Yo i saw your subs go up by a thousand magically

This is beautiful! How big is your nano in gallons/liters
Ooooo a free friend????? 😮
My favorite nano tank animals are plecos and aarowanas
😂
those pistol primps are cool. it would be cooler if their gun could kill prey
You're gonna have all kinds of hitchhikers and pests in that ocean water. A brittle star will be the least of your worries.
aren’t you worried about parasites with all the rocks / water you grab from the open ocean? 🤔
Bobby is verbal! 😮
me thinks you have an octopus.... especially since you can find ur pistol shrimp....
Calling boe jiden.
Bobby is a W
Must have been a live rock
Is it ok to take things from the beach like that?
Is it a starfish?? It must have been hidden on one of the rocks
Hello got me dying
Shoot water like a pew-pew!!!😂😂😂😂
Brittle star! Show him to us please I love them!!

A tiger WHAT?
Don't worry, Boe Jiden already forgot.
Where is the tank from! 😁
The pistol shrimp actually digs up food. The guppy eats it, and the shrimp eats the leftovers.
CLIFFHANGER!….
So what were the tentacles??!
The more I learn about aquatic life, the more I realize how basic so many Pokémon designs are 😐
bro i tried making a tank like this but gave up once i realized it would cost me over 1k
Do you need to have anything for corals like elements and do you need to have a anemone with clownfish
How many gallons is that
GYAAATT
Aptasia?
Brittle star 👀
Well........tell us!!!! What the hell is it??? Please!!!! 😂
Are you not meant to drip acclimate salt water livestock?
How many gallons are in the tank
