Its a bit of a delusion to say these are well-meaning people. Some are, but if you go to a protest you know that a lot aren't. I was threatened numerous times even though I'm not Jewish. I cannot describe these incidents in detail on YT because the "well-meaning" staff will censor me.

That's the point. The well meaning staff are incompetent; worse, they hold themselves out as competent. It's suicidal emotionally to play patty cake when the need is for one or more PR Crisis companies/groups. They solve these things for a living. They have a library of documented and experienced high pressure crisis events which they've absorbed as professionals. The well meaning are malarkey. The Jews and Israelis are losing because of the well meaning and the failure to reach out to crisis expert.

Many people like to believe that they are doing something right even when they are too lazy or too easily manipulated to discover what that is. This leads to some acting in direct contradiction to their own values without realizing it. They are not going to be easily convinced of their mistakes because people get invested into their own actions and decisions to the point where they cannot accept that they are on the wrong side. Deprogramming them from propaganda can be a difficult process especially if they are unwilling to listen.

Don't know if I would say the British colonised though. That's kind of playing into the enemys hands. They won a war, similar to how Israel won one, and we're basically left with territories. It's wasn't a war they fought to take land. But they were left with land. And the first they did was to make a plan to hand it over to a local population.

It continues to this day in the West Bank.
Illegally occupying capture territory is witness to the fact.
How can you characterise what is going on in the West Bank as "...to make a plan to hand it over to a local population"?
If you mean the so called two party state rejected by the Palestinians, would you accept a deal that gave more than half the land to less than one third of the population? Of course you would.

"Genocide" is a particularly disgraceful term with respect to Israel. The word genocide was first coined to describe what the Nazi's had done to European Jews. It meant a combination of two things: (1) An attempt to completely exterminate an ethnic group. (2) The killings were not necessitated by self-protection. Subsequently, some groups have tried to say that it is still a genocide if the killings are based on an intent to exterminate the victim, without regard to how any are actually killed. If we accept that as well motivated, meant to condemn, it still does not include killings based on a killing group's need to protect itself.

They are emotionally invested in the plight of Palestinian civilians being "massacred" by the IDF and that is the limit of their knowledge. They neither know nor care about the geography, the history, the religion & politics or even the details of how military missions are conducted and why.
Only yesterday I was screamed at by a woman in my own local pub when she overheard me talking to someone else about the crisis. The Zionist double standard where they act with the same brutality, lawlessness, and bloodlust to fight terrorism is just Western terrorism. No less evil. Zionists were the FIRST terrorists when they committed the cold blooded murder of existing communities to steal their homes and belongings during the Nakba. They have terrorized the Palestinians ever since. They have faced many "Oct 7". Mass murder after mass murder that the West ignored. You can not judge in others what you indulge in.

That's evil. That's terrorism. And all the years since of dehumanization, abuse, systematic terror, kidnapping of children, stealing, murder, and "mowing the lawn" campaigns was also terror. All criminal. Netanyahu even funded and kept Hamas in power as a boot on the neck of Gaza to prevent progress. Israel even commits terror against its own citizens with its illegal Hannibal Directive protocol, which played out during Oct 7. The PLO created the modern concept of Palestinian as a psychological weapon in a political war. That is according to their own leaders back in the 1970s.

What nonsense and lies! Herzl clearly used the term colonialism, Jabotinsky is a colonialist. The historical sources are very clear: Zionism is a settler colonial ideology. Genocide: the Genocide Convention is the benchmark, not that lie he is spouting. and yes, Israel is committing genocide. Apartheid: again, the hard facts show that Israel is an apartheid state.
