- Dell City is a city in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 365 at the 2010 census,[5] down from 413 at the 2000 census. It is near the former location of Paulville, a failed Ron Paul-inspired Libertarian cooperative and planned community.
It was incorporated in 1948, shortly after the discovery of an underground water supply by oil prospectors, which attracted farmers to the area. Its name is a reference to the nursery rhyme "The Farmer in the Dell." #texas #exploring
I had GPS work up in the Otero Mesa area to the north years ago and we went through Dell City. At the time there weren't smartphones and the road map we had didn't even have this town labelled. Fascinating little place, a farming town out in the moonscape 2 hours from El Paso.

This town has the only gas station for nearly 100 miles. Young guy helped me out here with the gas pump when I almost ran out on my way to Guadalupe peak with my dog, saved my life. I forget his name might’ve been Caleb, he was a marine and the brother of one of the sheriffs deputies at Dell City. If you see this man thanks again!!!

Did you know Jimmy Lutrick? I was in the Army with him back in 71-73. I stopped by there to see him in 75 after reserve training in El Paso, Ft Bliss.

I'm on my way there to see about the 6000 square foot lot I bought in Dell garden estates LOL in 2008 is actually there. I told myself one day I'll get there to find out. Land scheme on eBay as I understand but I aim to find out.

Nice. I bought a lot in DGE in 2016! I did it as a kinda insurance policy...if nothing else I had 60x100 feet of dirt and rattlesnake protein. I kick around the idea of retiring there. I hear there is a lot of drug trafficking on that highway, so glad in a 2A toting Texan already.

It’s a cool video to watch but whatever you have rattling around in your vehicle destroys the ability to watch it, it sounds like a 10 foot metal pipe is banging against another metal pipe, fix your stuff so that people can have the sound on Jesus
