If someone is going to make a vlog about universities in Ghana as as a foreigner (specifically, African), there is no one better than you. I am looking forward to watching more vlogs with your critical eyes, both the negatives and positives. Quite frankly, I think I don't recognize Legon. I know I am going to enjoy your subsequent blogs!
I watched a video of a Nigerian student in Ghana who said she thinks most go to Knust because. They have officials in Nigeria who make the application process easier. And they enlighten them about the school
The choice of Kwame Nkrumah University in Kumasi is not because of cost, but rather the choice of courses. KNUST is specially engineering. Pharmacy and medicine, the social courses are few, unlike Legon. Legon does law, administration, medicine and several social courses.
@@VanessaOkedi I think the poster has point but it is cut in black and white. Yes, I believe KNUST is tops in engeering and pharmacy but the rest of the disciplines is a bit foggy. KNUST has a decent law and medical schools (UG is little better). Yes, UG business school is better overall but KNUST has better entrepreneurship programs. I think KNUST social science programs are very innovative. Biotech and computer science programs at UG are very innovative, so are the traditional sciences and agricultural sciences. I think each program should be assessed individual. On a side note, Times World Education ranking (the most reputable in the world, Peter Obi and myself agree) ranks KNUST as the most impactful in Africa and 14th in the world.
Awww 🥰 thank you so much and I’m glad y’all are loving this. I plan to do more but I will be sticking to Ghana for now as traveling within Africa is super expensive but when I can finally afford it, I plan on doing a series like this around Africa. Thanks for watching
Hi Vanessa, please you can tour Sunyani and visit the Catholic University. it has a very larger population of international students. ranging from Nigerians to Ivorians, Cameroonians and many more. Sunyani is located in the Bono Region of Ghana.
Pls sis I wish one day you visit the KNUST and u will be amazed 💯🥰 It's one of the best school and also most beautiful school in Ghana and Africa 😁 U can research and see
As an alumni I think you did a great job but I always maintain that you videos are too lengthy. May be you could put it is sections with different titles or sub titles. That way you can have a lot of videos flying on the net as well. My humble opinion through.
My Audience seems to have gotten used to my long videos and they actually do love it as I have one of the highest average view duration. I am of the school of thought that quality will always be over quantity. so if I can deliver a fully packed video for my audience instead of uploading 10 contents centered on one topic, I'd rather fit all into one Video and get on to the next topic. YOU ARE ACTUALLY THE ONLY ONE OF MY VIEWERS WHO SEEMS TO HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY VIDEO DURATION. I hope you understand why I do what I do or better yet, you can always skip ahead to areas that interest you. I will be adding chapters to my videos, that way you go directly to the part you want to watch.
OK madam. I get your argument. And I fully understand you as well. I do skip to watch like you have directed. But I also belief a simple a short video can still have the quality info in it. Its unfortunate I'm the only viewer who complains but most often than not consumers who don't complain are the most dangerous. It was just a humble opinion. And it has never been my intentions to talk you out of what works for you. Please keep doing what works for you if it truly works. And thank you for honest and humble thoughts
Ei! This is Ghana's premiere university you are talking about. And you are comparing KNUST, which is Ghana's second choice university to this one? Just stop it.
@@VanessaOkedi That’ll be great and u ll definitely see the difference between the two More Nigerians in knust because it has such a serene and beautiful environment than Legon and more prestigious
There’s nothing contradictory about not liking mathematics but studied Engineering. I did Civil Engineering cus I loved structures and was the best graduating student in Physics and one of the best in Mathematics from my secondary school. I don’t have to like a particular subject to do well in it. Will I go to the university and study pure mathematics? No way, I hate it! I hope that is clear enough for you.
@@b.anthony8592 you’re actually confusing yourself trying to point out contradictions and honestly, do better. In layman’s terms, I DON’T LIKE WIGS BUT I WEAR THEM ANYWAY TO PROTECT MY NATURAL HAIR. Wearing of wigs cus I have to, don’t mean I have to like them.
The university is so clean and organised
Indeed
When I was in my final year, I managed to visit about 30 restaurants / canteens in the University of Ghana. The variety is amazing.

You can start vlogging campus life and education across Africa as a colleague reiterated
Putting this into consideration
Caffeine, stress, lack of sleep and low level electrolytes are some of the contributing factors to eye twitching.
