This is awesome - super excited for the next video, I’ve always wondered what the ins and outs are of formation takeoffs and landings. The next AOPA giveaway plane is a 170, put in a good word for me with Spad!!! Really enjoyed an interview I saw with you guys.
Nice video Jon. Yea the rivers were high, then when the water went down I broke my ankle. The Sauk is looking good now with a few good bars that can actually be seen from the road. And I’m laid up. I guess I can live it through your videos for now.
Lots of great info on this video ,I wonder if you could give Your opinion on things like tire size versus rock size, tire pressure, and starting your takeoff roll as far as engine RPM [acceleration RPM ]to reduce sucking up rocks/gravel to reduce prop damage. Also use of brakes in larger rocks. I'm sure there are lots of other things that might be of interest to guys and gals starting off in off airport landing in the rocks .THANKS
Great STOL on bars. very entertaining and informative. Thank you so much !
You are welcome Luke, I'm glad you liked it.
Thanks for the ride and thanks for the information, and of course thanks for sharing!

@@Jugheadf15 thanks Jon. I hope I get a chance to finally fly with you and Larry sometime this fall.
