Dave. Your boat looks in good shape compared to many. Your list of job's is getting shorter well done during the COVID times to get that much done. Hope re-sealing the windows doesn't need a mortgage. I asked to get a quote to reseal my boats widows and the quote that eventually came back was in multiple thousands, so I declined and am still patching up each year!
Some things probably don't need doing its just me being fussy. For the windows I found an ex-Trend marine guy who's set out on his own for him to come and do it plus provide mats we'll be in the £500-600 range which in the scheme of things for marine doesn't seem that bad to me
@@DavesBoat that's a great price for the window repair when you consider the work involved. He will have all the right tools, and know all the tricks to do it quickly. Looking forward to your next update.
Hello Dave! Excellent video, particularly for new boat owners. As you know, boats can require tremendous effort to maintain, particularly if properly upkeep. Some are, some are not! And it ain't cheap. All respectable boat owners should keep their investments in excellent shape, at least as one would with a nice home, car, or any premium purchase. Thanks for you excellent review! Cheers!
Hi Dave, I have just purchased a Sealine s23 and guess what those light cases have gone. Love your chanel. Any chance of purchasing some teeth replacements from you for my lights?
I don't have any printed at the moment I don't think and my printer is currently busted, if you go on sealineforums.co.uk I'm sure someone on there can help printing some for you or at worst case give you the STL file so you can have some one commercial printer to print them for you
The hatch seal is a standard (and i'm probably going to spell this wrong now) Bomar hatch I think it came from Seabridge marine but I'd have to find the invoice to be sure as I've ordered loads of little bits from all over the place.
I do have a few spare already printed out maybe 10 you're on the sealine forums but can't remember your username, send me a message username is hinchles and i'll get them posted out to you if you need more you'll have to give me a few days to fix the printer :)
