Thats whats great and unique about malaysia, you can have halal and non halal food close by. As a muslim in malaysia you sometime take for granted how easy to recognize halal eatery. Once you travel then you understand. Pack lots of brahim and maggi when i go abroad 😂😂

I think that halal one made it especially mushy. The halal one i find in johor is also charred and crispy on the outside too. Im not into mushy oyster omelette. I also prefer char kuey teow that actually has char on it rather than char kuey teow that's actually chuu kuey teow that malay usually made.
There is nothing to do with being halal or not. It's just the way of cooking. Both halal and non-halal versions can be cooked both ways. Gee.. you guys just don't get it.
Bro if u come to kluang next time, try the hotplate oyster omelette... same thing but served on a sizzling hotplate, so it's temperature is maintained.
The 1st version seemed to be without the essential Garlic and the Sambal mix!! Couldn't taste the chilly sauce and not sure I could give this a pass vote. In the 1st instance, oyster frying isn't in their cooking vocabulary ( the halal)
Close enough for muslims to try the taste haha, it was a really popular shop for muslims too cause we had to queue a bit! But the missing lard and other non halal sauces like shaoxing wine etc kinda changes the flavor
In muslim way..we eat only halal food...chines can eat either malay india chines it self.. But muslim love to try chines or indian as long as halal (with certificate.. non muslim is actualy lot of choices and variety food.. In Malaysia has quality control before they get the busines license..if they are a person to served people they need to typhoid injection and they can handle the customer.. Even street food need to do that regulation Btw enjoy food in Malaysia..thanks to seling Malaysia to other people
Some muslim Eat non halal food not in public but in close door😏 Got some Malay friend told me sometime They bungkus eat bak kut teh or char siew at home🤷 when i heard that i was like...Wtf? Seriously 😅
We're just tryna show international audience that malaysia is a multi racial country that youre able to enjoy both.. The point of the video is just to show that there are options in this country that isnt available elsewhere If you watched the video we did not criticise either just explained what we liked about both 😁
@@KimandWong I did not say you guys criticised anything. When you mentioned "multi-racial", it is about differences between culture, race wise. Halal or non-halal is about religion differences. I am just straightening the facts.

Gives us a reason why non Muslim can't compare halal and non halal food? It's only about taste and religion are not involved. Also it's funny when you ask "from whom or what perspective?". The answer is from a non Muslim perspective. Can't believe you are getting butthurt on things like this 😂😂😂
@@ayumetaldesu3563 I asked a legitimate question, "from whom or what perspective?". Well... you answered, "it's only about taste". If taste is the perspective we are looking for, then consider this. A pork is non-halal to Muslim... how do we compare that to anything? You can't compare a tasty non-halal pork-mee to halal pork mee can you? Duh... If a chicken is not slaughtered Islamically, it is non-halal, fyi. How do you compare nasi goreng ayam halal and nasi goreng ayam non-halal? Therefore, halal has got nothing to do with taste. Got it??? Gee.. I'm not butthurt because of the comparison. My butt hurt because of dumb people like you.

Wow uncle yang masak kat kedai pertama tu cina muslim? Sedapnyaaa 🤤
Ye chinese muslim! Dah confirm 👍🏻👍🏻
If its non halal, i think they are using lard oil, which is hard to replicate, even for black hokkien noodles
Yeah thats true.. the crispiness is not the same and the aroma too actually haha but its close enough for muslims to enjoy the halal version too
Thats whats great and unique about malaysia, you can have halal and non halal food close by.

Non halal much more delicious than halal. I never like halal foods because not taste good, wasting money sorry.
This is sensitive issue for Malaysia. May not be good to have this video. Here, we don't touch on religion related. We highly respect each other 😊
Perlu ke compare halal dngn non halal. Kapiyaq cine
Jaga bahasa dik , tunjukkan kesopanan. Dia cuma mencari perbedaan rasa. Salah ker?
