Hope that this video is useful to you! This will help you develop a more oscuro tone. Oscuro is the Italian/Bel Canto term for a darker tone. Future videos will help with the chiaro (bright/forward). Finally, the ideal which is "chiaroscuro" a mix of both. Stay tuned . . .
dr hale would you please make all the singing warmups in one whole video because sometimes I have to search the web to find the 3rd and 2nd vocal warmups
Saludos 🤝cordiales maestro le saludo desde LA California y gracias por compartir algo de su conocimiento que Dios selo pague en vida y salud gracias 😃.
Dr. Hale, do you have a pdf or image file of these exercises that you use in your videos like the one at 0:31 of this video. If so, would you mind uploading them and posting the link in the description box so those of us older folks with terrible memories can look at it while singing?
When you yawn your soft palate is elevated. So take your tongue and move it across the top of your mouth from front to back and you will feel that squishy area. That is your soft palate. When you yawn that lifts up. That is the sensation we try to achieve when singing most vowels. When you drop your jar and relax your lips when singing the soft palate automatically raises.
@@RogerHale magníficos ejercicios para la voz. Sigue siendo imposible ver los subtítulos en español se ven en inglés pero no en español. Great exercises for the voice. It is still impossible to see Spanish subtitles. I can see them in English but not in Spanish

Your channel is so amazing. How do we recognize the soft palate is elevated?
When you yawn your soft palate is elevated. So take your tongue and move it across the top of your mouth from front to back and you will feel that squishy area. That is your soft palate. When you yawn that lifts up. That is the sensation we try to achieve when singing most vowels. When you drop your jar and relax your lips when singing the soft palate automatically raises.
@@RogerHale Perfectly understood. Thanks Roger!
