@tylerb9877 Some people need a little bullying to become better people. Do you think $2700 is a good offer for someone having millions of viewers a month?
She's only 23, and has held one of the most coherent conversations out of most guests twice her age on this show... She's made some bad decisions, but has a great job and a good start on retirement. The EX thing is weird, but she deserves grace.
I did truck driving teams with a ex. Didn’t suck we were both upfront 6 months later we are doing trucking by ourselves it’s $1500 less a month but hey more freedom!!! Still make more than 80k
It makes sense to me. She’s not ready to leave the company yet and at her company if she’s not working with him she’d be working with a stranger and working with a stranger could be dangerous. So to avoid that, if she wants to keep her job with her insurance, she’s stuck with her ex.
She’s an adult being absolutely stupid. Nobody “deserves grace”. She needs to act like an adult. Women like you cause kids to live in the basement until they’re 45. STOP.
@@agustinreyes6111 if you were a true caleb hammer stan youd know that sentence would make him smash a table over your head. “Its not that bad” or “at least im not so and so” piss him off
@@Rpm-o1ystop with the stan shit💀 nobody has to keep in mind "what caleb would think" making a blanket statement, you have no idea what their financial situation is they may have everything perfect
Everyone should keep in mind what would Caleb say. It crosses my mind everytime I want to buy a candy bar at the gas station. That thought has probably saved me a few hundred dollars a month. In truth I need to start using it when I go grocery shopping to cut back that junk food as well.@@jaked9538
As a truck driver, I’m telling you Walmarts often times strategically like to sit in proximity to truck stops. Within a span of a week, you could find a Walmart that is next to a truck stop. She’s BSing you lol. “That would interfere with my DOT regulations”. No… no it will not. They have a whole separate clock called “Personal Conveyance” for stuff like this. She definitely kept her promise in making excuses lol.
@@kennethburgess9536 You don’t need to pc to go to Walmart for 30 mins tops bruh. Even if you’re under a tight load you can still manage it. She is just lazy and or doesn’t know how to manage her 14hr clock. Lol
I disagree, the withdrawals with vaping are WAY shorter than cigarettes. 4-5 days tops, if you get it over with when you fill like shit, are sleeping a lot and not wanting to do anything anyway while recovering it's the perfect time.
my dad was a solo long haul truck driver who lost 100lbs (302-195) and saved thousands of dollars because he started buying precut vegetables and precooked chicken and stored everything in his mini-fridge and basically ate chicken and salad for a year straight. this girl is just being willful and picky about the food thing IMO.
Also same with my dad, he gained a lot of weight and then bought himself small car friendly crockpot and cooked meat while driving and ate veg. He said there is an outlef for appliances in the truck, not USA tho so I dont knowif this is available for her.
Same with my husband. Lots of trucks have outlets for appliances like a microwave, airfryer and coffee maker. She’s just making excuses cause it’s easier. Also the whole “team driving w ex” thing, most companies I know will allow you to trade partners if there’s issues, especially if in the future there’s going to be major issues…once again just laziness on handle problems.
@@MsTrustUseven if the truck doesn’t have an outlet, you can buy a converter that’ll take a cigarette lighter plug and allow you to plug in a normal cord. I bought one for camping for about $20 and it has six or so outlets for me to use. You just can’t use it while the car is off or you’ll drain your battery. Probably fine for truckers though.
Being a part of the EDM community, it's actually extremely common to see people spending their entire income on festivals and shows. It's really sad to see...
@@trustedroot Honestly the hardest thing for a lot of ravers to realize is that they go for the drugs and not the event. That's why the rave scene has a choke hold on a lot of people.
Every generation below Gen X has a lack of self control and discipline. Those go right along with a sense of entitlement. People don't understand that survival, paying taxes, contributing to society, paying off debts, all come before entertainment and luxuries.
It’s wild how seeing Odesza is her only priority in life. I get that we all need hobbies but she’s putting it over every other goal like having a safe place to live.
That's what I was thinking, staying with family or even a hotel for the week plus a storage unit is way cheaper than rent. She's also using Uber already so what's the point of the car?
I have a condo and a car at home, but I'm only home for like maybe 2mo a year bc I travel for work (and leisure) so much. It's about $1600 amo, BUT once it's paid off then I only pay for HOA fees and utilities. It makes more financial sense this way unfortunately
She's going to recover from surgery, go on a diet, AND quit smoking in the same 3-week period??? Girl be SO FUCKING FORREAL RN. don't set yourself up for failure like this
The human brain hates too many changes... that's why people get frustrated with dieting and working out "too heavily and quickly". I learned the hard way 3 times, this time I am doing it slowly, I first changed my diet, then weeks later started to go to gym. Stopped with fast food, cooking way more veggies. I eat in order: Fibre, Protein, Carbons, and this keeps me longest full. My point is, Dieting too fast, changing life too fast, but keep on eating fast food is sadly a short-term solution
Caleb should hit the the guests with the "you are NOT a credit card person", Maury style. Then have the camera man follow the guests as they try to escape backstage crying.
17:10 By the way, I worked at KFC for around 2 years. We microwave the Mac n cheese, mash is boiling water and powder, and the coleslaw is literally just a packet. 😂 So just saying, “it’s hard to eat microwave food all the time”. You kinda already are 😅
I do not like their coleslaw at all. Here in the South coleslaw is just cabbage, Mayo, salt and pepper and that’s it. That’s the best way. I cook from scratch at home probably 28 days a month
After watching many of the guests on this show, this girl has more insight and accountability than the typical guests we see. She actually expresses remorse and seems genuinely inspired to work on her mental health, her future, and her finances. I wish her luck.
I've been trucking for over 7 years. Over 70% of Walmarts allow you to park for an hour to shop for food or things you may need. They aren't as friendly for overnight parking.
Yepppp. The truck thing is just incorrect. My step-mom is a trucker and you can 100% get groceries if you wanted. Just look them up or call and ask. She just wants an excuse to eat crap.
I've been stopped by security almost every time recently if it's a store in a city. The more rural stores don't care though. Maybe it's just where I'm running.
I’m surprised her surgeon hasn’t insisted she quit vaping before booking the surgical procedure. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor and it adversely affects healing.
@@pegasus2303it says it on the info/care sheet thing you get prior about not eating and such. she definitely knows and she’s definitely been told, they may have said smoking rather than vaping, but it’s no different in this circumstance
Requiring someone quit vaping or smoking is a lot to ask to be eligible for jaw surgery. If that were the case millions couldn't get the surgeries they need everyday. Of course smoking isn't great for healing, so she may heal slower. But it's a big jump to say she can't get the surgery at all. Be realistic.
This girl reminds me of myself 10 years ago. My whole life was the EDM/rave scene. The afterglow of the life changing events and the drugs made me feel like everyone in that community was pure-hearted and misunderstood. After a few years deep in the scene, I learned the truth; they’re just flawed and damaged humans looking for an escape from difficult/painful realities. I hope she comes to that realization before she endures all the pain that I did. EDM festivals and raves are truly magical places, but the only way to keep that magic from turning to pain and disillusionment is to keep up your boundaries and maintain your real life. When the music turns off and the drugs run out, real life will still be there; the others in the scene won’t. PLUR, little raver girl. Dance your heart out and be safe 💜
Long haul team driver here. The excuse of not being able to find a store to grocery shop at is horse shit. At some point during the week they’ll have to stop for a 34 hour reset, you can go to either your companies terminal, or a truck stop depending where you’re at. I’ve yet to go to any truck stop that wouldn’t iet me drop my trailer long enough to go to the store. Walmart doesn’t immediately start towing trucks, you gotta be parked for a few hours before they say anything. I’ve stopped at several Walmart over the past 4 1/2 years, with a trailer and without, never had an issue. As far as the microwaved food excuse, it’s called an air fryer. Me and my codriver have had one for years, never had an issue, just gotta unplug our fridge while we use it or it trips the inverter.
Out of curiosity: it sounds like your cabin alone is seen as a 'car' when you're not hauling. So no counting as work time with the restrictions. Is that correct?
I am learning many valuable life lessons from this show, including - 1. stop cope laughing - 2. don’t ask for feedback just to rebut it - 3. listen before responding - 4. cooking is cool
@@stevenbradshaw-wr1mn I really appreciate the guests that 1 - explain things actually outside of their power that screwed them financially, but also 2 - take complete ownership over the stuff that was in their control.
Sorry. As someone who used to hang around EDM people. That "peace, love, community" is only as strong as the drugs are. She definitely should not put so much trust in those kinda people.
Yup, pickpockets and dealers everywhere tryna make a buck off you. I got my wallet stolen last time I went to one, BUT id say all the strangers who helped me look, then paid for my dinner and gave me free balloons coz I was sad, were awesome ppl. Not everyone is bad or a druggie, but you have to be careful no matter what
I work for a parking company and for 10 years have parked festivals like EDC and Electric Forest. They literally try to run me over in the parking lots and then jump out and yell PLURRRRRRR❤. It’s such a joke
@dh.151 no you're absolutely right. I'm just trying to speak onto the level of hypocrisy I noticed those kind of people generally have, as I was around the "scene" for like a decade. A lot of them are complete phonies with a trust fund.
I have a friend who wastes all her money going to EDM festivals for "the community." She's a great person, but definitely not someone I'd emulate. She jumps into very serious relationships after a week of knowing them and doesn't have any stability in life at the age of 38. I'm now getting the feeling that EDM festivals are Broken People Conventions where "the community" is just a bunch of people trauma-bonding.
Chicken or the egg type thing maybe? Were they drawn in because a) being young and freshly an adult the scene appeals and they wind up stuck, or b) were they unstable and slightly addictive (personality type) before and the EDM scene capitalizes on these vulnerabilities? I guess I wonder if these "festivals" are using preexisting issues or if they create issues (mental/emotional)..?
I used to watch cooking videos from a creator who was also a long haul driver and she drove with an InstantPot. Her videos were about cooking with the InstantPot while on the road. She drove with beans, rice, some pre-cooked meats, and pre-cut fruits and veggies, canned veggies... She made everything work and they were fun videos to watch.
After watching an OTR driver cook a steak with a waffle maker I knew anything is possible. My drivers carried a small grill on their truck and they would grill out. They would eat better than I do sometimes.
Idk ill be optimistic because I knew a guy who lost 15 pounds because of the surgery and did keep it off, its all the matter if she chooses to keep good habits.
Jaw surgery can be life changing. If anything, she'll probably have more self confidence. I wouldn't be surprised if some changes came as a result of that.
I’m a dental assistant. That surgery is intense and expensive but I’ve seen the results and benefits. Sticking to the post op care is key!!Good luck girl!
I’m really rooting for her. She has a lot of potential and seems very smart. Just seems like she’s made a couple bad choices because of lack of guidance/ignorance. Good luck in your debt free journey!!
Yeah she won me over when she started roasting Caleb for making excuses about eating pizza on his diet. 😂😂😂 and you can hear the crew in the background cracking up at it. 😂
I have a similar love for Odesza! I know exactly which festival she was going to attend because I also wanted to attend! I REALLY wanted to buy tickets, but it's not worth the additional credit card debt. Instead I paid $20 to watch the livestream of their final show and I partied in my living room. One day I'll see them live, but not until I can comfortably afford it.
Caleb’s going to shit a brick when he finds out she could have saved hundreds-thousands by getting a $20 livestream ticket and partaking in “this once in a lifetime” show in a responsible manner. 🤣
I admire you for making this decision. Caring more about your overall financial well being than instant gratification. That is no small feat! You rock💜
My husband hauls cars (union position), is home every day, and his take home is over $5000/month. Your hazmat cert increases your possibilities, too. You definitely do not have to drive with your ex.
I was scanning comments for something like this. She needs to look into FMLA or Short Term Disability. When I needed emergency surgery for a burst appendix, I was out of work for 3 weeks. Got STD, which I believe was 60% of my take-home, but I didn't need to use my PTO. That company is boning her if they don't tell her about this.
Proceeds to cry while talking about her relationship with her ex "I don't know why I'm crying, I'm so over it" Girl.... You're not over it, you can't get over it because you work with him in a truck for a month straight
My mom yelled at the screen as I was watching and said “if it’s important enough you will find a way … if it’s not you will make an excuse” … and then she walked by again and said “I think he likes her” 😂😂😂
Sorry but if your on a CDL which is basically any job driving a semi and run by the DOT/Government your not allowed to do any type of drugs, (this even includes certain drugs prescribed by a doctor, ISNT allowed) between random tests and DOT physicals every 3/6/9 months or 1-2 years depending on the medical card that’s not possible.
@@kennethburgess9536 It's pretty easy to dodge drug testing. The only drug that really stays in your system is weed. 99% of other things are out of your system in a day or two.
A lot of truck stops have a frozen food section or sell sandwiches because truckers aren’t able to get food on the road 24/7. If you have a mini fridge you can keep meat, cheese and bread and that’s several meals you could even get a half gallon of milk and a box of cereal. To justify buying fast food every day by saying that’s all that’s available when in reality you’re just being lazy is crazy. I say this because that was me. Since watching the show my husband and I have saved probably 200 bucks from just eating at home. I hear Caleb’s voice in my head “EAT A SANDWICH BREAD, MEAT, CHEESE. EVER HEARD OF IT? SOUP? DELICIOUS”
Are all the ready made options. Soup by the liter ready made might be relatively expensive, it's still a couple of liters to a fast food burger. Only need to heat up and done.
I actually really like this guest. She shows how easy it is to fall into financially bad habits, but also shows willingness on how to get out of there. Sure, she wants to go to the festival, but I think on all other parts she showed great willingness to learn. Let her have the festival and after that: no other excuses. I have great hope for this girl that she’ll figure it out and do great. Hoping for a great follow up in a few months
Most of her life is difficult from trusting the wrong people. I cut out a bunch of people for this reason. It is better to be alone than around unsafe people. She needs to get to that point.
This comment hit home for me. I've made alot of unnecessary decisions that made my life much harder. The only reason I haven't found the nearest bridge is because, unfortunately, my entire life has been nothing but difficult so I'm used to it and have normalized it. Being stable isn't something I know about and honestly I fear it.
I think it would be helpful to break down someone's car payment by daily usage. Especially for someone like her. If she spends $632 alone on her car payment each month and she's only at home for a week to use it, then that means she's paying over $100 PER DAY to use the car if you count gas and insurance. And thats assuming she uses the car every day when shes at home which she likely doesn't with the Uber charges on her account. Thats INSANE. Theres no reason she needed a car that expensive.
She seems like such a sweet person. I really believe she’s going to be successful after this wake up call. She seems pretty self-aware (all things considered) and just lacking the push she needed. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you see the light 😊 really wishing her the best!
Imagine making $4300 a month after taxes (probably a $65k a year salary equivalent) as a 23 year old who didn’t even attend college and still being in this much debt.
This entire audit is just her saying “I’ve done nothing and tried everything so I’m out of ideas. What do I do? Did I mention I’m going to A FESTIVAL AND GOT MY ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN HIGH SCHOOL???? WHAT DO I CALEB?!?!”
I don't believe for one second that there are Walmarts that don't allow truck parking. They may not allow overnight parking, but they won't tow you for parking for an hour to shop.
Several of the one's I used to go to put up yellow 11' tall steel bars over all of the driveways except for the driveway that goes to the dock. One day I pulled into one and security was on me before I set my park brake.
That was my thought!! The Walmarts in my town always have trucks parked (they have areas that accommodate the trucks a little further out than where cars go obviously!) but I’ve NEVER seen them tow a truck!!
Every Walmart I’ve ever been in has so many semi trucks around it that you could probably park in the back with the deliveries for an hour and still not get questioned
I watch a lot of TH-cam trucking channels and from what I’ve seen, it actually depends on each store manager more than corporate. I’ve seen a lot of videos showing trucks getting booted, some almost getting towed while the driver is in it. Another one, the driver actually stopped at Walmart to buy groceries, during the day. He came out to his truck being booted. Granted a few of those were done by predatory towing companies. I’ve seen other videos where even RV’s get kicked out of Walmart parking. I know of a few truckers that carry cordless grinders to cut the boots off. So it does happen.
my guy if you have never done the job why talk? no, walmart won't allow semi trucks to park in their lot. and not just Walmart most shopping centers won't allow you to park in their lot
Also a trucker here and I went through that same jaw surgery with the mouth wired shut and ate milkshakes for a month. Shit was rough and I lost 30lbs. Take a month off of work trust me.
My cousin broke his jaw in college (his clavicle and shoulder too, it was awful 😢), and it was pure HELL for him. He was a fit, muscled football player and lost over 100 pounds because he couldn't eat and couldn't excercise. It was a nightmare. He was so lucky to be able to move back home and have his mom take care of him, and he was able to take time off college with almost no setback to his schooling. But he never played football again😢.
My kid is having it in a few months. My kid is already at the lower level of weight for age and height, so I'm meeting with a nutritionist to make sure the blended meals are loaded with nutrients, good fats, and enough calories. I'm worried about too much weight loss. We're also lucky that her dentist offered to clean her teeth once a week for free during the banding. I couldn't imagine going through the recovery while driving on the road and meal prepping etc. It seems like too much at once.
@@MissMosierableI had the surgery three months ago. I lost 30 pounds. I would recommend mixing high protein ensure with ice cream (there’s a ton of calories there and it’ll keep them full). I also made baked potato shakes (blend potato, butter, milk, water and salt) it’s really good and super fatty to keep them full. I tried so many different foods and was left so hungry until those two shakes I told you about. I was trying to be healthy and drink premier protein and lost so much weight. Don’t do that lol get the ensure. 😂
Aye, I had the surgery too & eating thru a straw for a month sucked ass (and you have a face that looks like a balloon the whole time). Sure there is weight loss, but you better pick up some good habits as soon as you are able to eat again. P.s.a. don't try blended spaghetti.... I'm still gagging from it.
@@dizzyloops Friend had this in early 1990s , and could give a list of bad blends. She had a large syringe with straw sized end - so not have to actively suck it in.
Both my dad and father in law have driven long distance for over 30 years. They always pack food and hardly ever stopped at restaurants. My dad has a small griddle in his semi and a small pan that he uses to make eggs in the mornings or heat up any food. He also has a small fridge to keep any food. He’s diabetic and has kept his numbers good by doing this. It’s possible she’s just not trying. Edit: not a griddle but an electric burner.
This is all a complex thing to me in UK - I don't know long haul drivers, but do know that drivers have to rest after certain number of hours. Not used to 2 drivers on shift, more likely pull up at a Truck Stop (cheap 'greasy spoon' cafe; loos and parking inc overnight) - but may just be my ignorance. Also distance here is tiny compared to US coast to coast or Canada to Mexico borders.
Also I'm just thinking of all the things you can use that don't need to be refrigerated at all.... Peanut butter crackers, can have pans of refried beans and tortilla chips so she just heats up the beans in microwave, soups... like am I crazy to think if you want to you can just not even need food that goes bad.

Im a solo truck driver, i literary went to walmart today. You can call and ask if you can park in the back to go shop. They usually will allow it, some wont. If not look at surrounding areas and find empty lots and park there. It's not always easy but totally worth buying your own food which is healthier and you save a ton of money
Smoke doesn't just upset blood production and also lowers your whole bodies ability to heal due to circulation and inflammation. Even spinal surgeries fail a lot because of smokers due to bone density. Take this from a nurse and a smoker. Stop smoking at least a month before surgery for the best benefits. Also, try never to pick it up again. And please, people tell your doctors if you smoke or do drugs, it's important for surgery and out patient care.

As a former team driver, making stops at a walmart or grocery store are fully possible. Those stores dont allow overnight parking, its not a problem if you going in and buying groceries
I drive trucks local (CDL). Home everyday, and can also tend to my side business and other needs pretty easily. Just the trucking job alone my take home is $5200/Month ($6500 pretax) never been over the road. I respect the people that do OTR though.
@SimonCas by having your priorities together. Knowing you don't need new and flashy or monthly vacations. The ONLY bills you NEED to have are housing and utilities. You can have a cash car and save for something newer, not new. You can learn useful skills and save thousands when things break or you WANT to update stuff. You can build a cheap but useful toolkit to do so. You can give up the worldly pleasures everyone seems to be so obsessed with and actually live a meaningful and purpose fill life. I live in the United States and have a home 2 cars and 2 motorcycles. They're not new. They're not pretty and have outstanding performance, but they work well and well enough to even have fun from time to time. I updated/ updated every room in my house on my own and fixed everything wrong with my motorcycles on my own in my small driveway. I only make 2500-3000 a month for now and can still save ATLEAST 1k if I want to. WHEN i make 5k a month, I will still have the same bills and not inflate everything around me to live the exact same as I do now. When I am 30 or 35, my life will be incredible because of this. I don't NEED to experience everything right now or when I want. I did that before, and now I'm fixing it. Luckily I was 21 when I realized this and now 23 and almost done fixing my fuck ups.
I give the guests credit with the creativity of excuses they come up with based on a general suggestion to help them improve their situation. They just want you to give them the answer instead of taking the advice and finding the solution that makes the most sense for their situation.
I love how people come on to be “honest” and “open” and listen to your ideas. Then say no to every idea and make excuses for everything. Makes sense to me!!
You can pretty much draw that parallel for anything. Pretty sure upwards of three quarters of the USA would be considered obese if their body fat percentage was measured
It takes planning and equipment if you're going to do it. Also if you're OTR you don't know what state you'll be in three days from now, and if you're team driving the truck only stops for pickup/delivery, fuel, driver change, and the 30 minute mandatory break. You really have to get everything done on your 34 hour reset, which is your 8th day.
Hey girl, best wishes on your jaw surgery! I had a double jaw surgery in my 20's, and a total jaw joint replacement with a second lefort in my 30's. Please research your surgeon, before moving forward. The first surgeon I went to wasn't very good. Facebook jaw support groups can be a helpful tool for this. Some ideas for a no chew diet. I brought Kettle Fire bone broth to the hospital for my second surgery, and my husband heated it up for me. Any soups are great, just dump in a blender and thin out with broth if needed. I enjoyed blending the Panara bread chicken noodle and cheese broccoli soups that you can get at the grocery store. You can even blend curry if you enjoy that. I also enjoyed pouring the blended cheese broccoli soup over mashed potatoes. I thought I would live off smoothies, but the cold sensation with nerve damage made me crave more warm things. Do your best to plan some meals before your surgery. You'll thank yourself during recovery.
@@kylebanks13 Yes but that means she is stopping at truck stops which most sell food. Maybe a little more expensive then walmart, but cheaper then eating out.
As a former otr driver, sometimes you will be at a dropoff and will walk to any eating place that is next door to grab food so once you are through with the load or unload, you hit the road to get as many miles as time allows since restricted to certain amount of hours active in a day. Not saying it is an everyday thing but you don't really get lunch breaks like a normal 9-5
Truck Driver here who delivers to grocery stores. Pull into delivery areas out of the way from others, turn on hazards and go in buy some food. Walmart is about the only store that has security actively checking. All other is free game if you in n out quick.
Or park it at the back of the parking lot for a minute while you run in. I’ve seen trucks parked at the back of Walmart parking lots. She’s just got all the excuses though.
Re: The food. They sell mini freezers. Replace the mini fridge with a mini freezer and a small cooler. Remove frozen premade meals from freezer to cooler. Use frozen premade meals as way to cool drinks or any other fresh foods. Microwave. Done. Easy.
This girl seems very sweet and I can see her potential to get out of this now that her situation at home is resolved. I resonate with her need to go to this upcoming festival of an artist so important to her, she needs it for her mental health. She has so much clarity on her financial situation and I hope that she is able to move forward with her life and get rid of her debts. I wish her the best of luck with everything and her upcoming surgery.
My dad had this surgery, and lost a ton of weight. And he was skinny to start with. My grandma (his then future MIL) made a pork chop dinner and potatoes, then tried to blend it up so he could get it thru a straw. He said it was the grossest thing he’s ever tried to eat, lol.
I’m fuckn about to lose it. I’m a 30 yr Veteran trucker here. She is making excuses. She just wants CONVINCE. If she has a issue with the EX why is she still in the environment.
Look at the hammer financial score onscreen graphics. They’re all wonky. Retirement was 7/10, but it showed 1/10. Emergency fund was 0/10 but showed 7/10. The graphics have improved in accuracy and love the content!
She has a good heart and looks like she genuinely wants to make a change with it but its going to be hard. Needing to make that change, been there for sure on it and striving forward. Take those steps forward and make those changes, financial freedom is so much more important than the short term gratifications.
I use to long haul... it's called pre-trip planning ...that's what most effective professional drivers do....for some reason this woman doesn't pre trip plan.
Yeah, my step-mom is a trucker and this girl just making excuses to be lazy. If she wanted groceries she could definitely get them. She just sounds irresponsible

She doesn’t plan anything in her entire life. Her meals are the least concerning thing. I’m not sure why they’re talking about consolidating credit card debt and making $1300 card payments on her $4000something salary when she’s got this surgery she’s saying she’s going to go out for. For those that don't know Truckers have to follow DOT regulations which allows a 14hr work day. 11hrs you have to drive with the other 3hrs are used for fueling, pre/post trip inspection ect. You have to take a mandatory 30min break within that time and then a 10hr rest break after 14hrs.

He's kind of done that in the past on this show, I remember a guy who did have some debt, but had financial goals for the next 10 years that they talked about, paying stuff off and then getting into real estate.

I’ve yet to go to any truck stop that wouldn’t iet me drop my trailer long enough to go to the store. Walmart doesn’t immediately start towing trucks, you gotta be parked for a few hours before they say anything.
What 😂
She could save a lot by just renting a car for the days / week that she needs it when she's not on the road.

It's much easier to do when you're solo. When you're team driving the truck doesn't really stop.

@@SimonCas in canada thats one months rent
@@SimonCasIt's plenty in the midwest if you don't have debt or kids.😂
I love this channel! I would love to see Caleb bring back guests from a year ago to see how they are doing now!
The never ending list of excuses for why it is so hard to procure healthier and cheaper food while trucking was truly mind boggling

You can stop at a KFC but not at a grocery? That makes zero sense.
A lot of truck stops have fast food places built into them. Not saying that's 100% what's happening here but it's likely.
@@kylebanks13 Yes but that means she is stopping at truck stops which most sell food. Maybe a little more expensive then walmart, but cheaper then eating out.
@@archeanchaos-s4c definitely! I'm just explaining the logic of how they're stopping at fast food restaurants but not at actual grocery stores.
Paying a grocery store to deliver your groceries would still be cheaper than eating out. These people just don't care.
Truck Driver here who delivers to grocery stores. Pull into delivery areas out of the way from others, turn on hazards and go in buy some food. Walmart is about the only store that has security actively checking. All other is free game if you in n out quick.
