2nd gen dodge 4x4 actuator bypass/quick fix to lock the front axle.

I made this so you don't get stuck and it be something as simple as moving a hose to get home.

what is that hose that goes upwards towards the engine, mine is just hanging not connected to anything.

its a vent tube for the axle it goes up inside the engine compartment to keep water out. mine has a little cap with holes in it for venting

check your shifter linkage and also check the vacuum lines going to it.
