cross-trading is giving something outside of creatures of sonaria such as murder mystery weapons for things inside creatures of sonaria such as creatures My personal opinion: I understand that an IMMEDIATE permanent UNAPPEALABLE ban and tradelock is fair if someone was caught in a cross-trade, but I believe that a warning would've been more reasonable in this situation since it's clear I wasn't aware of a discord role in my server being cross-trading, and would've instantly stopped this and even deleted the role if I was informed about it, I was just reported by somebody screenshotting the role requirement saying that it's a trade and I was immediately banned and tradelocked. Besides, I can arguably say that this isn't really a 'trade', as I wanted to give the roles as a gift to supporters, and not as an exchange. BTW, I never said this isn't cross-trading, I literally said it's a fair ban lol, this isn't a complaint video, it's just a video covering why I was banned, all I said was that I didn't have the intention to and I would've appreciated a warning, that still doesn't make it not cross-trading of course. Everybody has mixed opinions about this, feel free comment down your opinion just don't be harsh :)

Its just so confusing once you just see your BANNED and literally no one told you the reason why. Then YOU have to find it out and be able to talk it through and explain.... its a hard process do get your acc back, but i wasn't in the same situation. Someone hacked my account, and literally tried to get all of the creature's i have to his actual account.... it was pretty hard to get it all back but with time we found out who it was and roblox banned them. i got banned forn the server for nsfw art.. keep in mind I never posted art on there server so one of the staff had to snoop around and find my acc on ADULT art sites to ban me
I think Elasmo is one of the largest content creators towards this game and puts so much work towards it. Imagine how much more he could do if he had the ability to make even higher quality videos? It would help the game way more than it would hurt. I think the creators should suck up their pride and accept the appeal, because this one dude does more for them than they realize. I only started playing again after years because I stumbled upon an Elasmo video and I'm sure many have similar stories.

Trust me elasmo it might seem like Mods/Admins are doing their job but truthfully they're doing it half-heartedly. And there's many MANY victims of false bans, people who have been wrongfully accused and banned for it. I know someone who was actually accused by a staff member themselves and banned for it because alot of the staff disliked them when TECHNICALLY they didn't do anything wrong. In this case though i do see where they're coming from but seriously they could've warned you first.. hopefully one day there's gonna be a competitor for CoS cause honestly I'm so OVER it.
I am officially convinced COS hates it's player base. With every update they just get more and more money hungry and more and more aggressive towards players to make the play experience worse and worse and worse. To the point that if for whatever reason they think theyre missing out on that sweet sweet player cashout because a community is coming together to help a creator they all like who doesnt have hundreds of dollars to pour into a game that 1. again, hates its players and 2. wont even verify him as a content creator and support the FREE ADVERATISING he is giving them, they perma ban you without warning. Theyre not protecting anybody from anything, theyre not preventing something bad from happening. Theyre jumping at the first opportunity they have to lock your account because they want your money. Literally every sonar studios game has followed this money hungry, inhospitable, cash grab pipeline, COS crossed the threshhold long ago, and now theyre doing it with horse life. This is the exact reason why i stopped playing Dragon adventures, and it looks like i just need to swear off all their games alltogether lol. Cross-Trading is against Roblox TOS. For you it seems dumb, but for Roblox it means less money if they allow Cross-Trading, so If Sonar studio wants to keep partnership with Roblox, they need to ban without warning crosstraders. At the end Roblox is a money hungry company
Also, higher ups say you’re not allowed to trade mush for art. However, if they could argue that what Elasmo did was cross-trading, then so are their art contests. Many art contests are hosted every month and are basically gambling combined with cross-trading. I don’t know who decided that was ok.
Even if it's technically cross-trading, the situation on itself is still really- uh tricky idk. They should've just either gave a warning or reached out saying what's wrong with that. Like shit I doubt even a fraction of cos players would've thought that its crossing
This is WILD considering I’ve seen TONS IF PEOPLE CROSS TRADING with no repercussions, example; Commissions. While it is up as a rule to do this, I’ve seen SO SO SO many people take commissions for mush and creatures. It’s stupid because they don’t get banned or trade locked either. It’s really unfair :/
Commissions don't count as Cross trading. Cross trading is "the exchange of items or currency between different games". Art isn't a game. The reason cross trading isn't allowed is because you cannot do the trade within the same area, and so its very sketchy. With commissions you can send progress reports to your art to confirm that you are doing the art in return for the game items. You can't do that with actual cross trading, its entirely trust based. Honestly the rule on art commissions that include game items is dumb because you *can* confirm, as the artist being commissioned, that the thing is getting done. The process is literally.. Progress Report #1, #2, etc. Commissioner gives you the items.. you give them the finished art. There's no risk there because why would an artist do all the effort to make the art and just not give it to you? So basically, commissions can't count as cross trading. Adopts could, but commissions cant.

Yup, they just ban you immediately No warning, no second chances, not even a notifying of what you did wrong before BANNING you permanently. The fact that they banned YOU, who is the sole CC I watch for CoS content nowadays Is insane and shocking. I thought they would at least warn such a huge CC if they're too lazy and garbage to issue warnings for normal discord members. Clearly they won't change though. They don't care.
The fact your channel is nothing but videos of their game, this is wrong of them. A fair warning should of been given and they handled this poorly. They should see the wrong in this since you didn't even actually give out any roles and remove the ban asap. It's kinda childish if you ask me how there is no warning. I dislike the creators of COS and DA, they banned me from the DA discord and it basically ruined my game play and I spent so much money and robux on that game-so no I actually hate the CC of COS and DA. I still play COS but I stopped DA cause of the CCs!

It happened to me but with dragon adventures Im an artist so i was trying my best to get accepted as a concept artist and so when i was chit chatting with some people on the main chat I ACCIDENTALLY mentioned that i did a crosstrade for an Aranga but i did this like 4 years ago. I got trade locked and also banned from the da server but im just gonna say, ok yes, im stupid for mention that but they should've just banned me on their community and thats it but why trade lock when i literally made a crosstrade 4 years ago. Im a player that believes on hard work but i was totally giving up with the aranga cuz is my favorite dragon and so i did whatever i had to but the trade was years ago, old story. So my thing is, for me is a really ridiculous way to solve an issue when there's literally crosstraders behind their backs, i really noticed that either cos or da moderators are AWFUL on their work and they dont give you a friendly solution or a deal They just solve problems with the most lazy solutions Also it happened to me as a concept creator for griffins destiny that also Erythia exploits people and they dont get any payment or recognition and so they banned me bc i didn't credited an artist when i did the steampunk wings that were heavily inspired on the artist but AFTER A YEAR Bro i was angry cuz i kept makeing stupid concepts and they could've told me "hey, we noticed this wings look similar to other" but before even thinking on adding them I just gonna say, Artist, if yall want to be concept artists for sonar studios Please Reconsider it and focus your talent and time on a better and friendly studio than this sh*tty studio 💛
That is stupid, tbf, nobody owns the concept of steampunk wwings. unless you copied it almost pitch perfectly you should of been fine. ive only been playing this game for under a year. already i am getting PTSD from people getting banned for saying the word "the" in the chat(sarcasm for stupid reason per ban). like this is starting to scare me away from even playing COS at all. they need to get their ducks in a line and remember how to be professional whether these players are kids or not. this is power abuse at this point and every one of them is probably encouraging the other within their staff clique. devs are not to blame here, it's the staff or community managers or mods or whatever you want to call them. they are so all over the place and unprofessional to the point i dont even really know what to call them officially. i would hope they arent getting paid to "run free" with their discretion at every corner. the owner, whether aware or not is just as guilty for not managing her employees behavior and discretion utilized within the game and its community. this is getting so crazy ban, after ban, after ban, after ban. really makes me wonder who is the actual adult in this entire organization. because someone needs to take charge here. this is moshpit of bans and kicks for the most stupid things. just as ridiculous as the roblox chat filter itself.

My ACCOUNT got deleted and I was so surprised they gave me no warning and instead of Just banning me they deleted my account and I had no idea why. even after I figured it out I still thought they should of given me a warning to stop or banned me instead sense I’ve never been banned in my life cause in always trying to be careful. I feel as though they should be warning people before taking action cuz most of the time people don’t even know they’re doing something wrong. I lost all my progress in Cos…like everything I worked so hard to get. Luckily I had only been playing for a year unlike some other people who have been playing for 3 years now but still. i feel like theres different levels of cross trading, on one hand you have ppl that do it to scam others and on the other hand you have ppl tryna do things similar to what you were doing theres 2 different thought processes w/ what you were doing though so i'd see why staff n stuff would get that confused w scamming or whatever. some ppl may make roles like that to encourage their audience to do the requirements for that role [which sometimes leads to getting scammed], then theres ppl like you who were just tryna show appreciation for donators w/out any scamming involved

JUST FOR WITNESSING A CROSS-TRADE! It just seems like the devs/mods dont even care for the player base anymore; they just want money.... (however; whenever harp Isles is released I think you should try making videos on it)
The thing about the cos ban and things like that, is that they never tell you what you did wrong untill you do it wrong, you either memorize all of the server rules or you gonna get ban after ban, there's no easy way arround it. its like a strict mother that always punished you without explaining why, even if she does explain, the punishment is always more harsh compared to whatever you may have done wrong.

No warning before the ban is crazy, I understand cross trading is strictly prohibited, but banning with NO warning is wild. This whole thing could have been avoided if they had just gone “Hey, you can’t do that, please delete this!!1” but I understand the staff were doing their job, it’s still unfortunate though
Anything that Relate to the Off-Site Purchase are all in "High-Risk" of Getting Banned for Cross Trade Since they Assume that it have something to do with the In-game service Since the concept of the said ban reason do not have actual boarderline, It can get into mess easily with just a single Purchase Perk added in whatever method.
Okay, you did it and all, but getting permanently trade locked is a little wild, imo. Especially since you didn't even give anyone the role, as you said, and the whole cross-trading thing wasn't intentional. Getting banned with such harsh punishments without even a warning first or anything is crazy to me. Quite a few COS content creators are getting banned, both official and not yet officially recognized ones. Some were even what could be considered false bans, from what I've seen, and some can't even be appealed (?). This is looking a little like a moderation issue to me, but hey, I got no experience with moderating servers or anything.
Hopefully cos devs unban u then give u a warning then you both understand what both of u did wrong. The devs should've gave you a warning. And elasmo should be careful with these kind of stuff. Much love to you're content 😊❤
I use to be a content creator for this game and got demoted with 0 warning. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of aeries >< Honestly CoS seems like an overcrowded mess now. It had its glory days. Maybe you can get with Harp Isles when that comes around 💙
I stopped playing cos for a while because it was just crazy how the new devs have messed up the currency and value system. I honestly have come to hate Sonar Studios and everything they have done after i got banned from their Discord server for some unfair reason. cos was a fun game to play, imo it was a very grindy game though. I re-visited it just a few weeks ago and its crazy how many new enormous t5s they have popped out over the course of the 6 weeks while i stopped playing. i can't even trade my inventory because everything i grinded so hard for is now worth 500-5k shrooms. tldr= Sonar Studios are a bunch of devs with poor decision-making skills, who make grindy pay to win games.
Sorry to hear that it does indeed suck, I got banned from the DA server for a similar reason (not cross trading but trying to help someone) and didnt realize my mistake till later XD nulifying my chance as well to get content creater ;-; (no warning or appeal just straight up perma banned...it was fair and I understand why as well but sucks) I do wish you luck in the future though and if I can help out at all on CoS I will try :,D
I feel like the creatures of sonaria staff should implement different levels of punishment based on how, why, and what was cross traded instead of giving out high penalties to every situation.

As a person who loved this game and spent wayyy to much money on it i feel your pain,This game has gotten so grindy i barley ever play it.I find it such a shame this game keeps on getting worse and worse as i feel like it has potential but the devs just make it so money hungry and honestly I stopped playing.
This isnt cross trading? I have alot of experience with trading stuff in-game and im aware of what cross trading is, but for a cross trade ( as an example ) you would demand a german cat for maybe a swedish dog. Both from somewhere else. But you didnt really demand it, nor ask for it in any way. Anyone who CHOSE to donate 10k for the elasmonian role is basically just buying it with cos currency. Your situation is very different, because you wanted to reward people for donating to you, making a role with special features exclusive to those who obtained the role as a reward. A permanent ban isnt the best way to treat this, given it wasnt your intention. If they looked into the situation they would have noticed that. You could easily change the 10k donater feature, so a warning would have been the best option. I know rewarding your fanbase as a thanks for their efforts is a good thing to do, but its ok if you dont have the money to reward them. Thats why they donate. Its sad you got banned, i hope they atleast look into the appeal 💔
You cross-traded, that's a valid ban. in the trading realm it has a giant sign that says you can't cross-trade, it's in Roblox's TOS if i recall. without warning and unappealable is understandable in my opinion, this is something that can be abused by others and little kids can end up spending money for the currency. What is odd was the lack of communication, no matter what it is, obvious or not, they should have explained WHY you were banned and why it can't be appealed. I'm appalled. Can't believe you had to ask ERYTHIA why you were banned.

I started playing this game due to Elasmo, and have been thinking of stopping for a good while now. Every new update pushes out more and more underwhelming creatures, with bland abilities, cookie cutter stats, and very few niches to fill. Stats and abilities on creatures are ever changing/nerfing into the most bland and un-fun forms the creatures can take before they simply cease to exist. Grab is being removed from 9/10 of the creature that had it, resistances/damage/health are nerfed all the time, creatures ether focus way too much on fulfilling a niche or have the same 5% regen and 1.0-1.2 attack speed as everything else, almost nothing gets buffed anymore, and if it is it tends to have something else nerfed unless its to add an ability like climber or jump. My favorite example of the gradual bor-ifying of the game is Buff Eulpii's remake. It released with around 5,000 hp and had 15% hp regen, this made it one of the few creatures that fit the "Regenerator" niche. And it was incredibly fun! Guess what they did... Gave is 7,500 hp. So a buff right? No... They lowered its hp regen to the standard 5% to go along with it... Completely ruining the enjoyment I had playing what was at the time my favorite creature. What was once a unique and fun to play creature, now fills the exact same combat niche as Polymostrum, Starknol, and Baruw... Riveting...... I think hearing about this happen to Elasmo is the final nail in the coffin that holds any semblance of enjoyment I had playing this game.

I think the point that it went into cross-trading territory was when you put a number on how much money people would give you in order to get the role. If you had just kept it as a donation = role, then I think that it’d be okay, since it’s more of a gift for a gift rather than a payment. Idk if any of this makes sense, but in short, the moment you put a number on the donation was when the mods got irritated. It IS technically cross-trading, especially now that its a feature of your server. And for those who think I support the mods/devs of CoS, I DO NOT. I think they are vile people who, honestly, should be locked up (especially you-know-who’s). I have quit the game. I am just saying what I think based on the rules of the CoS server and game. It wasn’t cross-trading in the beginning, but when Elasmo made it so you had to donate a certain amount of mush to get the role, it shifted to cross-trading. Before, it was a gift for a gift. Now, it is somewhat of a payment. NO HATE, again, TO ELASMO OR COMMUNITY. I am giving an unbiased opinion, as many people will be biased to Elasmo or to the CoS devs/mods. I do think that Elasmo was wrongly banned, but not 100%. He made a MISTAKE, however, and I believe the mods should actually LISTEN to Elasmo, at least to hear him explain his side of the story. EDIT: Also, yes, the mods should have gave Elasmo a warning before officially banning and locking his account. Thats was a bad thing to do on the devs part, not giving a warning.

Not to mention that someone could’ve sill given a warning to him and tell him to stop the cross-trading. Even large companies such as Nintendo send out cease and desists. So far it just seems like this isn’t about following ROBLOX ToS: this is about someone who holds power within the CoS community that may very well hate Elasmo and took the first opportunity they could to ban him despite the fact he had good intentions.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous as elasmo has done so much for the community and is an amazing content creator. And as others have mentioned, other issues such as bullying, harassment, etc have never been dealt with while something so stupid causes bans without warning. I think the staff owe you an apology for this as well reconsidering you for cc to stop the issue from happening again.

To get tutorials/showcases done with creatures you don’t have the trial mush for, you can still ask friends or people in the community to nest you since they can’t trade you stored of course. Max growth tokens will still evade you however, I wish you luck in your future content.
cross trading is when you use currency outside of Roblox for something in Roblox. in this case, the trade is title -> mush. It makes people want to give you money, which they also dnt want ppl clearing their bank accounts to have a discord title. (not saying this was the intention, but thats how it would appear for an outsider)

Off topic from the vid but I'm also trade locked in cos. The reason is simple, I don't blame the staff since i was only a kid at that time. Basically, I had discord and ofc, joined the cos dicord, after some time of being in there, my 12 years old mind decided to comment on a chat and I said "I scam people for fun" sth like that (I also didnt read the rules), so they reported to the admins and got me muted before getting banned from the server. it was not until now did i realised that it also forbid me from trading. welp, I was stupid at that time so cant really blame em
I believe they grew up. That's why they made rules which aims to help the community. Those who violate the said rules are the ones who need to grow up. No matter how strict the rules are, you should follow them and take responsibility if you violated one even if accidentally. Then, you can say you grew up
I agree with the majority about there being a warning system it feels unjust if you spent money on the game only to be permanently banned unless the things you did were on purpose. But you can get ban for something you didn’t do or something you weren’t aware of while they let hackers roam free doesn’t sit right .
it's so unfair, getting banned for something that hasn't even been done yet, no warnings, sonaria is totally unfair, I was somehow kicked off a Discord server a couple of years ago for asking if the devs planned to improve the map because the little critters don't cope and get stuck in textures and it looks like a mockery to which I got a response like "we're working on it" and the next morning magically I didn't see the server in my list, when I went back I lost all my progress in chats and channels
i basically quit this game a few months ago because finally...after four years of playing this game...I simply had enough. I got tired of being spawn killed, I got tired of people targetting me, and worst of all...the staff were a bunch of power trip jerks! So this one time (im pretty sure it was during last valentine's event) I was trying to grow a creature and I kept getting spawn killed by this aolenus. Over and over again! So I brought out my already full elder poly because I was tired of being killed. I almost killed the ao then suddenly this random syro comes out of nowhere and grabs my poly, then gets me stuck in the wall. I'm trying to fight both this ao and syro now when suddenly I see the purple mod title in chat "YOU ARE ABUSING A BUG AND EXPLOITING IT! YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THE WALL NOW!" I kept telling them I was literally stuck, and then they just kept saying "well then menu!" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MENU WITH THIS DUMB SYRO ATTACKING ME?! Eventually I managed to get to a part of the wall where the syro couldn't reach me but man that made me upset. Believe it or not, that wasn't the reason why I quit the game. I actually quit because I was nesting as my headless sigma at the very top of the mountain in an area where you literally cannot even see me from the ground and the only way to get there is to climb or fly, and then somehow this full grown oxy managed to climb up there invis and then killed me. THAT'S why I left. Because I didn't want to deal with people who hated me so much they would go out of their way to do all that just to kill me.

I never got a warning before my ban from discord, it was dragon adventures discord which really saddens me bc dragon adventures is one of my fav games to play (only on events bc of that stoopid ban)

It is very fair for them to ban for cross-trading. Its fair to ban someone for cross-trading when they didn't realize as thats through ignorance (usually a lesser punishment). However assuming you are telling the truth you never actually cross-traded and only had the idea of it, they should've warned you as they technically didn't have any grounds for banning you other than you were planning on cross trading without knowing it was cross trading. If they were to warn you they could find out if you either A. didn't know or B. didn't care.
Cross trading is like this: If you trade Robux or certain itens from your account is considered cross trading If you crosstrade such was like you used, giving a certain creature for certain item in another game. Selling a item for irl money or well (Your case) could be considered Cross trading. Explanation for in case i made it confused: Since you using a diferent money (Such was diferent kinda coins, Items, etc) you crosstrading, since the itens aren't the actual game coin (Which is mush in this case, or any other item since its a trade and not a system of money and stuff), considering than you had to do third party stuff to get something inside the game (Than the devs didn't even know it), I gonna be honest, I don't think it was deserved to be considered a perma ban but CoS.
okay but like im not talking specifically anout this case, but in general. CoS staff are so much more problematic and money hungry than the players its actually crazy. Hopefully Harp Isles has nice staff because ive seen multiple mods being racist and not getting banned/muted/kicked off the moderating program.

My personal opinion: I understand that an IMMEDIATE permanent UNAPPEALABLE ban and tradelock is fair if someone was caught in a cross-trade, but I believe that a warning would've been more reasonable in this situation since it's clear I wasn't aware of a discord role in my server being cross-trading, and would've instantly stopped this and even deleted the role if I was informed about it, I was just reported by somebody screenshotting the role requirement saying that it's a trade and I was immediately banned and tradelocked. Besides, I can arguably say that this isn't really a 'trade', as I wanted to give the roles as a gift to supporters, and not as an exchange.
BTW, I never said this isn't cross-trading, I literally said it's a fair ban lol, this isn't a complaint video, it's just a video covering why I was banned, all I said was that I didn't have the intention to and I would've appreciated a warning, that still doesn't make it not cross-trading of course. Everybody has mixed opinions about this, feel free comment down your opinion just don't be harsh :)

Its just so confusing once you just see your BANNED and literally no one told you the reason why. Then YOU have to find it out and be able to talk it through and explain.... its a hard process do get your acc back, but i wasn't in the same situation.
Someone hacked my account, and literally tried to get all of the creature's i have to his actual account.... it was pretty hard to get it all back but with time we found out who it was and roblox banned them.

I think Elasmo is one of the largest content creators towards this game and puts so much work towards it. Imagine how much more he could do if he had the ability to make even higher quality videos? It would help the game way more than it would hurt. I think the creators should suck up their pride and accept the appeal, because this one dude does more for them than they realize. I only started playing again after years because I stumbled upon an Elasmo video and I'm sure many have similar stories.

Trust me elasmo it might seem like Mods/Admins are doing their job but truthfully they're doing it half-heartedly. And there's many MANY victims of false bans, people who have been wrongfully accused and banned for it. I know someone who was actually accused by a staff member themselves and banned for it because alot of the staff disliked them when TECHNICALLY they didn't do anything wrong. In this case though i do see where they're coming from but seriously they could've warned you first.. hopefully one day there's gonna be a competitor for CoS cause honestly I'm so OVER it.

I am officially convinced COS hates it's player base. With every update they just get more and more money hungry and more and more aggressive towards players to make the play experience worse and worse and worse. To the point that if for whatever reason they think theyre missing out on that sweet sweet player cashout because a community is coming together to help a creator they all like who doesnt have hundreds of dollars to pour into a game that 1. again, hates its players and 2. wont even verify him as a content creator and support the FREE ADVERATISING he is giving them, they perma ban you without warning. Theyre not protecting anybody from anything, theyre not preventing something bad from happening. Theyre jumping at the first opportunity they have to lock your account because they want your money. Literally every sonar studios game has followed this money hungry, inhospitable, cash grab pipeline, COS crossed the threshhold long ago, and now theyre doing it with horse life. This is the exact reason why i stopped playing Dragon adventures, and it looks like i just need to swear off all their games alltogether lol. This is WILD considering I’ve seen TONS IF PEOPLE CROSS TRADING with no repercussions, example; Commissions. While it is up as a rule to do this, I’ve seen SO SO SO many people take commissions for mush and creatures. It’s stupid because they don’t get banned or trade locked either. It’s really unfair :/
Commissions don't count as Cross trading. Cross trading is "the exchange of items or currency between different games". Art isn't a game. The reason cross trading isn't allowed is because you cannot do the trade within the same area, and so its very sketchy. With commissions you can send progress reports to your art to confirm that you are doing the art in return for the game items. You can't do that with actual cross trading, its entirely trust based.
Honestly the rule on art commissions that include game items is dumb because you *can* confirm, as the artist being commissioned, that the thing is getting done. The process is literally..
Progress Report #1, #2, etc. Commissioner gives you the items.. you give them the finished art. There's no risk there because why would an artist do all the effort to make the art and just not give it to you?
So basically, commissions can't count as cross trading. Adopts could, but commissions cant.

Im an artist so i was trying my best to get accepted as a concept artist and so when i was chit chatting with some people on the main chat I ACCIDENTALLY mentioned that i did a crosstrade for an Aranga but i did this like 4 years ago.
I got trade locked and also banned from the da server but im just gonna say, ok yes, im stupid for mention that but they should've just banned me on their community and thats it but why trade lock when i literally made a crosstrade 4 years ago.
Im a player that believes on hard work but i was totally giving up with the aranga cuz is my favorite dragon and so i did whatever i had to but the trade was years ago, old story.
So my thing is, for me is a really ridiculous way to solve an issue when there's literally crosstraders behind their backs, i really noticed that either cos or da moderators are AWFUL on their work and they dont give you a friendly solution or a deal

That is stupid, tbf, nobody owns the concept of steampunk wwings. unless you copied it almost pitch perfectly you should of been fine. If you did copy it nearly pitch perfect with few changes tho, then i understand that decision. Because theres a line between inspiration and stealing. And stealing from artists is never ok. hese designs get submitted into the game where millions of people will see it. You should never try to become a concept artist if you plan to do that. They probably clearly stated it in the rules too. But if it was just inspired then thats fine and if it leaned a little close they should of just warned you.

I feel as though they should be warning people before taking action cuz most of the time people don’t even know they’re doing something wrong. I lost all my progress in Cos…like everything I worked so hard to get. Luckily I had only been playing for a year unlike some other people who have been playing for 3 years now but still. I lost a year’s worth of stuff plus all the stuff I bought with real money. It really sucks that they don’t warn people instead of just assuming they’re doing something on purpose well fully knowing the consequences.

Im so sorry for your loss Elasmo :[ ,I can sorta relate to this problem since I have had friends who just WITNESSED a cross-trade but weren't the ones cross-trading ,yet they got banned from the sonar studios discords and trade-locked on all games. JUST FOR WITNESSING A CROSS-TRADE! It just seems like the devs/mods dont even care for the player base anymore; they just want money.... (however; whenever harp Isles is released I think you should try making videos on it)
The thing about the cos ban and things like that, is that they never tell you what you did wrong untill you do it wrong, you either memorize all of the server rules or you gonna get ban after ban, there's no easy way arround it.
its like a strict mother that always punished you without explaining why, even if she does explain, the punishment is always more harsh compared to whatever you may have done wrong.
This is littarely real life in a nutshell, specifically schools and the education system.

No warning before the ban is crazy, I understand cross trading is strictly prohibited, but banning with NO warning is wild. This whole thing could have been avoided if they had just gone “Hey, you can’t do that, please delete this!!1” but I understand the staff were doing their job, it’s still unfortunate though

Okay, you did it and all, but getting permanently trade locked is a little wild, imo. Especially since you didn't even give anyone the role, as you said, and the whole cross-trading thing wasn't intentional. Getting banned with such harsh punishments without even a warning first or anything is crazy to me.
Quite a few COS content creators are getting banned, both official and not yet officially recognized ones. Some were even what could be considered false bans, from what I've seen, and some can't even be appealed (?). This is looking a little like a moderation issue to me, but hey, I got no experience with moderating servers or anything.
Hopefully cos devs unban u then give u a warning then you both understand what both of u did wrong.

I stopped playing cos for a while because it was just crazy how the new devs have messed up the currency and value system. I honestly have come to hate Sonar Studios and everything they have done after i got banned from their Discord server for some unfair reason. cos was a fun game to play, imo it was a very grindy game though. I re-visited it just a few weeks ago and its crazy how many new enormous t5s they have popped out over the course of the 6 weeks while i stopped playing. i can't even trade my inventory because everything i grinded so hard for is now worth 500-5k shrooms. tldr= Sonar Studios are a bunch of devs with poor decision-making skills, who make grindy pay to win games.

I feel like the creatures of sonaria staff should implement different levels of punishment based on how, why, and what was cross traded instead of giving out high penalties to every situation.

As a person who loved this game and spent wayyy to much money on it i feel your pain,This game has gotten so grindy i barley ever play it.I find it such a shame this game keeps on getting worse and worse as i feel like it has potential but the devs just make it so money hungry and honestly I stopped playing.

I have alot of experience with trading stuff in-game and im aware of what cross trading is, but for a cross trade ( as an example ) you would demand a german cat for maybe a swedish dog. Both from somewhere else. But you didnt really demand it, nor ask for it in any way. Anyone who CHOSE to donate 10k for the elasmonian role is basically just buying it with cos currency. Your situation is very different, because you wanted to reward people for donating to you, making a role with special features exclusive to those who obtained the role as a reward. A permanent ban isnt the best way to treat this, given it wasnt your intention. If they looked into the situation they would have noticed that. You could easily change the 10k donater feature, so a warning would have been the best option. I know rewarding your fanbase as a thanks for their efforts is a good thing to do, but its ok if you dont have the money to reward them. Thats why they donate. Its sad you got banned, i hope they atleast look into the appeal 💔
You cross-traded, that's a valid ban. in the trading realm it has a giant sign that says you can't cross-trade, it's in Roblox's TOS if i recall. without warning and unappealable is understandable in my opinion, this is something that can be abused by others and little kids can end up spending money for the currency. What is odd was the lack of communication, no matter what it is, obvious or not, they should have explained WHY you were banned and why it can't be appealed. I'm appalled. Can't believe you had to ask ERYTHIA why you were banned.

I started playing this game due to Elasmo, and have been thinking of stopping for a good while now. Every new update pushes out more and more underwhelming creatures, with bland abilities, cookie cutter stats, and very few niches to fill. Stats and abilities on creatures are ever changing/nerfing into the most bland and un-fun forms the creatures can take before they simply cease to exist.
Grab is being removed from 9/10 of the creature that had it, resistances/damage/health are nerfed all the time, creatures ether focus way too much on fulfilling a niche or have the same 5% regen and 1.0-1.2 attack speed as everything else, almost nothing gets buffed anymore, and if it is it tends to have something else nerfed unless its to add an ability like climber or jump.
My favorite example of the gradual bor-ifying of the game is Buff Eulpii's remake. It released with around 5,000 hp and had 15% hp regen, this made it one of the few creatures that fit the "Regenerator" niche. And it was incredibly fun! Guess what they did... Gave is 7,500 hp. So a buff right? No... They lowered its hp regen to the standard 5% to go along with it... Completely ruining the enjoyment I had playing what was at the time my favorite creature.
What was once a unique and fun to play creature, now fills the exact same combat niche as Polymostrum, Starknol, and Baruw... Riveting...... I think hearing about this happen to Elasmo is the final nail in the coffin that holds any semblance of enjoyment I had playing this game.

I think the point that it went into cross-trading territory was when you put a number on how much money people would give you in order to get the role. If you had just kept it as a donation = role, then I think that it’d be okay, since it’s more of a gift for a gift rather than a payment. Idk if any of this makes sense, but in short, the moment you put a number on the donation was when the mods got irritated. It IS technically cross-trading, especially now that its a feature of your server.
And for those who think I support the mods/devs of CoS, I DO NOT. I think they are vile people who, honestly, should be locked up (especially you-know-who’s). I have quit the game. I am just saying what I think based on the rules of the CoS server and game. It wasn’t cross-trading in the beginning, but when Elasmo made it so you had to donate a certain amount of mush to get the role, it shifted to cross-trading. Before, it was a gift for a gift. Now, it is somewhat of a payment.
NO HATE, again, TO ELASMO OR COMMUNITY. I am giving an unbiased opinion, as many people will be biased to Elasmo or to the CoS devs/mods. I do think that Elasmo was wrongly banned, but not 100%. He made a MISTAKE, however, and I believe the mods should actually LISTEN to Elasmo, at least to hear him explain his side of the story.
EDIT: Also, yes, the mods should have gave Elasmo a warning before officially banning and locking his account. Thats was a bad thing to do on the devs part, not giving a warning.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous as elasmo has done so much for the community and is an amazing content creator. And as others have mentioned, other issues such as bullying, harassment, etc have never been dealt with while something so stupid causes bans without warning. To get tutorials/showcases done with creatures you don’t have the trial mush for, you can still ask friends or people in the community to nest you since they can’t trade you stored of course. Max growth tokens will still evade you however, I wish you luck in your future content.

cross trading is when you use currency outside of Roblox for something in Roblox. in this case, the trade is title -> mush. It makes people want to give you money, which they also dnt want ppl clearing their bank accounts to have a discord title. (not saying this was the intention, but thats how it would appear for an outsider)

Off topic from the vid but I'm also trade locked in cos. The reason is simple, I don't blame the staff since i was only a kid at that time. Basically, I had discord and ofc, joined the cos dicord, after some time of being in there, my 12 years old mind decided to comment on a chat and I said "I scam people for fun" sth like that (I also didnt read the rules), so they reported to the admins and got me muted before getting banned from the server. it was not until now did i realised that it also forbid me from trading. welp, I was stupid at that time so cant really blame em

I agree with the majority about there being a warning system it feels unjust if you spent money on the game only to be permanently banned unless the things you did were on purpose. But you can get ban for something you didn’t do or something you weren’t aware of while they let hackers roam free doesn’t sit right .
it's so unfair, getting banned for something that hasn't even been done yet, no warnings, sonaria is totally unfair, I was somehow kicked off a Discord server a couple of years ago for asking if the devs planned to improve the map because the little critters don't cope and get stuck in textures and it looks like a mockery to which I got a response like "we're working on it" and the next morning magically I didn't see the server in my list, when I went back I lost all my progress in chats and channels
i basically quit this game a few months ago because finally...after four years of playing this game...I simply had enough. I got tired of being spawn killed, I got tired of people targetting me, and worst of all...the staff were a bunch of power trip jerks! So this one time (im pretty sure it was during last valentine's event) I was trying to grow a creature and I kept getting spawn killed by this aolenus. Over and over again! So I brought out my already full elder poly because I was tired of being killed. I almost killed the ao then suddenly this random syro comes out of nowhere and grabs my poly, then gets me stuck in the wall. I'm trying to fight both this ao and syro now when suddenly I see the purple mod title in chat "YOU ARE ABUSING A BUG AND EXPLOITING IT! YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THE WALL NOW!" I kept telling them I was literally stuck, and then they just kept saying "well then menu!" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MENU WITH THIS DUMB SYRO ATTACKING ME?! Eventually I managed to get to a part of the wall where the syro couldn't reach me but man that made me upset. Believe it or not, that wasn't the reason why I quit the game. I actually quit because I was nesting as my headless sigma at the very top of the mountain in an area where you literally cannot even see me from the ground and the only way to get there is to climb or fly, and then somehow this full grown oxy managed to climb up there invis and then killed me. THAT'S why I left. Because I didn't want to deal with people who hated me so much they would go out of their way to do all that just to kill me.

I never got a warning before my ban from discord, it was dragon adventures discord which really saddens me bc dragon adventures is one of my fav games to play (only on events bc of that stoopid ban)

It is very fair for them to ban for cross-trading. Its fair to ban someone for cross-trading when they didn't realize as thats through ignorance (usually a lesser punishment). However assuming you are telling the truth you never actually cross-traded and only had the idea of it, they should've warned you as they technically didn't have any grounds for banning you other than you were planning on cross trading without knowing it was cross trading. If they were to warn you they could find out if you either A. didn't know or B. didn't care.
Cross trading is like this:
If you trade Robux or certain itens from your account is considered cross trading
If you crosstrade such was like you used, giving a certain creature for certain item in another game.
Selling a item for irl money or well (Your case) could be considered Cross trading.
Explanation for in case i made it confused: Since you using a diferent money (Such was diferent kinda coins, Items, etc) you crosstrading, since the itens aren't the actual game coin (Which is mush in this case, or any other item since its a trade and not a system of money and stuff), considering than you had to do third party stuff to get something inside the game (Than the devs didn't even know it), I gonna be honest, I don't think it was deserved to be considered a perma ban but CoS.
