Cheers bro. Yeah it's nice to be back on a new bike. Technology is always improving. Looking forward to lockdown being over so we can all go ride again! What are you riding?
@@tagabukidmedia Yeah man, focus on wellness and it will come. The colourways on the latest CLASH are pretty sick. Saw it at Crankworks Rotorua. My last bike was a TREK and was very happy with that too at the time. My friend recommends bikes for me; he reads all the articles! Haha.
Yeah its' a sweet ride bro. Once the suspension was tweaked to my riding it really took off. Size L. I'm 6ft. The only downside whatsoever is the SRAM brakes are rubbish in my opinion; loud and shudder-like. Would have thought at that price point the brakes would blend in and compliment the rest of the experience. 7.5/10. Marked down due to SRAM brakes (BRAKES SRAM GUIDE T, 200 mm / 200 mm) and rotors (these well may be the issue or adding to it. Commencal use SRAM and Shimano depending on what exact model of CLASH you're considering.
What is the diameter of your renthal bars ? 31 or 35? I’m buying 40 rise renthal bars but I can’t decide on the diameter to get. Some people are saying that the 35 diameter feels to stiff. Would love to know what diameter you have and your opinion on which ones I should get .
Hi. Sorry for the super delayed response. 31mm diameter where the head set clamps the bars. 40mm rise. About 22mm diameter where the grips go on. Hope that helps. Have you bought some yet?
Hi Kenny, I've never been a fan of riding up hill or bought into the conversation people have around whether a bike is easy or hard to ride up hill. I just head down and grind out the hills without worrying how long it takes. If I'm lucky I'll remember to lock off the rear shock which helps a lot. People tell me the rake at the front end must be hard to ride up hill but I don't know I just ride it. I probably haven't been too helpful. Just lock that shock off and grind man.
Nice bike bro. Im jealous 😫

The Adventures of Raz i got a trek hardtail. Been wanting to buy either the clash or torque. Hopefully this pandemic will be over soon.

How does it pedal uphill? Does the suspension moves a lot?
