Yeah, Bob wears a shirt mostly to protect my knuckles, but he wears a cap too and my neighbors have to do a double take thinking he's real.🤤
@@kputala That can set up a good fighting style. We can grab the shirt and strike with the lead hand. Controlling the enemy. Average people won't know what hit em.
@@amartyapandit most of the time students only get to spar in class, but that is against other trained people. On the street, trained people usually don't go around attacking others, although it's possible. Usually we will defend against untrained people which gives us an edge, but it also makes the enemy unpredictable and still dangerous. Always something to keep in mind. 👍

@@Saiyanivan-dv7rm I love the Karate Kid series (1-3) and so far Cobra Kai has been good too! Waiting for season 3. From what I read, Tang Soo Do master Pat Johnson trained the Cobra Kai in the movies in Tang Soo Do, and Daniel and Miyagi did Goju Ryu.

The chin is where most knockouts happen. The majority of knockouts happen, also, because the opponent does not see the hand coming and, therefore, the brain does a hard "reboot".

Except with the thumb inside the fist, none of the others are wrong unless you have been indoctrinated to believe they are wrong. Ian Abernethy made an interesting video regarding the different ways of making a fist.
