Turning a temperature knob to the left always is way faster and more reliable than talking to software imo. Very nice truck, absurd mpg, a diesel would fit such a ZR2 perfectly.
I used to think the same thing. Give a knob any day. That was until my wife bought a new Mercedes. She keeps her eyes on the road and her hands on the wheel and just tells the system to set the temperature to whatever degrees she wants. It’s the vehicles with just the touchscreens that kill me.
Im a chevy guy but...70k for what? This is just an up trimmed trailboss... for 50k ok i can live with it but 70k! It looks like a fat new yorker trying to do Ballet over those bumps... did they really think this would stack up to the trx or raptor? Im disappointed. As always a fantastic review though.
@@davidporter7051 i agree to an extent. 70k for any vehicle is absolutely ridiculous to me but if you got the money to blow in an over inflated market by all means.. I get their marketing it to the same consumer base at a lower price your are correct that it is a steal compared to the ladder but based on its capabilities its not that far off from a mid trim silverado z71 why not just buy a lower trim level go to american muscle for bumpers etc and get a baja kits 4ft travel kit build your own "chevy raptor" and save 10-30k?
@@kraut5023 to get anything close a Z71 RST would have to be found. Good luck finding a Silverado 6.2 that is 60K, then lift, add 33 inch tires, e-lockers, and then power train mods. That is well over 100K to have built not to mention the time waiting for the build to be completed.
I bought this truck a month ago. Worst mistake I made! Within two days the hood paint started to chip and peal all around that black plastic hood piece. Discovered a tear in the rear door panel. GM stated that they were aware of the paint issue but had no solution. Searched online and hundreds of owners have the same issue. GM offered me an measly $100 coupon for oil changes ! Traded it a few days later! Buyer beware
The new dashboard and infotainment looks _much_ better than previous generations!
Man that new interior makes such a difference
I’m not a GM guy but damn Chevy did good with the refresh

Look like a monster truck 🚚
Kind of does!
Where’s the Supercharger?

At 70K this doesn't come close to the Raptor or TRX price. A used 2022 Raptor is 97K here. For 70% of the price tag it's a steal.

Who's the boss? Still RAM TRX!
This truck isn't worth the MSRP Chevy is asking for. For another $10k the TRX can be had for around $86k with over 700hp.
When you equip it just like this Chevy though the cost is closer to $20k more.
@@stevehammes very true. But I was referring to an entry level trx
