Why can't we have beautiful looking and sound amazing cars nowdays. I would love to know that. Car designs from 90's and 2000's was the best they should have never changed it.
The Mitsubishi Expo LRV was a very early version of what a crossover would be like. Then the Rav4 came out, followed by the CR-V, and then a something for luxury buyers, the RX 300.
I had a '93 and it had all the qualities of the ad. No part failed from anything but rust, and this was my high school car. It saw a lot of abuse, and ran great up until the end. Solid car, killed by rust in the end. I still own a 3800 powered vehicle. If you see one, go for it.
I wonder if someone would help me. The commercial I am looking for was loved by me so much that I recorded it on VHS back in the early nineties. I can't remember the make/model but the car was driving in the rain thru a city and it was nighttime I believe and the road had maybe a millimeter of rain on its surface. The sound was kind of odd, not really music. Sort of deep and epic I guess? I can't find the tape and I have been searching for the commercial for years. Would be 1992 ish. Maybe 93.
@PHOENIX RISING Sorry to burst your bubble, but a dodge stealth is a rebadged Mitsu 3000 GT with a 6F72TT motor, highly unreliable and expensive to own, I worked for mitsu for 4 years, nightmares to fix. honda B17a1 was making 160 hp from 1.7 L N/A. 6F72TTs are 290 hp from 3.0L forced induction, case closed.
@PHOENIX RISING I agree the Nsx is overpriced and underpowered, the reason for that being that vehicles manufactured in Japan during that period had a 300 hp restriction, Honda/Acura wanted to make a Ferrari/Lamborghini competitive vehicle. however, they needed to make the entire chassis aluminum to reduce weight to compensate for Hp limitations. Bottom line: underpowered and too expensive to produce.
1990
'FREE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION!" / 2020 "SAVE THE MANUALS!"
Amen
Save the manuals and get rid of EV's
I like how they promote 10.9% as a good deal.
That was back in the day though. Money was worth more then, and cars were stupid cheap. (Mainly because they were crap)
It is a good deal when just 10 years before that mortgage rates were 17%+ APR. 😂
@@dylanhale7300 cars maybe, but the trucks were some of the best ever built. Even Dodge.
It was more than doable for how cheap they were.
Why can't we have such cool commercials nowadays
Because we have crossovers made by people who just want to make money and see cars as just steel, glass, rubber, and copper.
And that they ugly as fuck.,

Because the Globalists want money from Pharmaceutical companies, so most commercials are drug commercial.
R.I.P. Golden Retriever in the Buick commercial.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks like this. And all announcers over age 50
@@benscampers1818 Every single time I see a dog in an old movie or ad I always think that he/she is dead by now. Weird I know lol...
OMG why do I always think that when I see a dog in an old commercial???
Vintage car commercials are my favorite
i just volunteered to watch an ad without rewards
Imagine a car today offering "dual airbags" as a standout feature. "Gee, you mean I get TWO whole air bags?"
AC still optional tho lol

I had the Eagle Summit version of the LRV. I used to call it the runt of the minivan litter.
“I bought the Dodge, just feels like quality”
... Are we really supposed to believe that? 😂
The Buick Lesabre ad sold me. Still a solid car to have almost 30 years later

Love your vids
Thanks!
Aahhh The 92 Toyota Camry. One of the more easily stealable cars. 😁
Mont Bleu Ford makes me feel *warm and fuzzy* inside
The Dodge Stealth was a Mitsubishi 3000GT, beautiful car and fast too.
Love that mazda commercial
I love the quality of good mercury
The cars of the first Middle of the 90s were so elegant and pretty.
Yeah and now we have cars that are ugly and vomit inducing. They should have never changed car designs from 90's and 2000's.
The blonde in the Camry commercial looks like Sheree J Wilson from Walker Texas Ranger.
So Mazda is the responsible party for trying to get everyone out of manual transmissions 🤨🤬
These are all local dealers to me. That's awesome
Mitsubishi Expo haven't seen or heard about one of those in years

i think it was a ford truck commercial from 91
@@redneck400m3 No, was a luxury car. I had it saved for years on VHS but I must have dubbed over it.
Is that "Maaahhzda" automatic transmission commercial from Boston or something?
That's how they say it in Canada. They also pronounce Nissan "Nih-ssin".
5:23 there goes the cheap copy of Mitsubishi 3000gt twin turbo
Bought two of the biggest piece of s*** cause ever produced.
That tempo per mo cost more than new mirage 99/month
they are saying mazda wrong in this commercial as well, wtf
OWEN FLORENCE is that a compliment? :D

What even are car commercials today
Garbage commercials for garbage cars. I stuck with my Pontiac(s) too.
Not impressed I drive a delta 88 now. Having trouble finding a new hubcap though.
Nothing is uglier than Buick cars and SUV
You, uh... you've never seen a Fiat Multipla, huh?
Lady telling the guy to shush. Poor guys probably already had enough of the trip and has to drive everywhere in such an embarrassing thing. You shush
You could of bought 3 or 4 cars back then for what you pay for one plastic computer car of today.
Yeah, that is how inflation works
Cannucks......
Dodge commercial from 1991 5:51 "no substitute for cubic inches" *acura enters conversation* "we're making 160 hp out of 1.7 L of motor bruh"
