Mind blowing modeling and weathering. Love the automation. The only thing that broke the illusion for me was the instantaneous acceleration and braking. A pulse width modulation circuit to ease in and ease out the motor would fix that.
The technology they use for this is 20 years old now. This was implemented right at the initial opening of the exhibition. And since then it is used throughout the whole model layout. And they have grown and still are growing quite a bit. So changing the acceleration and deceleration would be doable I guess (they have done other much more difficult projects I would estimate), but doing so is a considerably big change in size.
That was the only standout for me too. Absolutely incredible composition and layout. With the right directional lighting I am sure many scenes here would be completely indistinguishable from real city settings. BRAVO 👍⚒️🏆🇬🇧
Absolutely mesmerizing! Between the miniature people in the vehicles, the vehicles moving and navigating turns themselves, and the humans walking among the models, i am delighted as to be so confused exactly where in this Gulliver’s world of modeling i really exist. We need more of this to keep our perspective in a crazy world.
Un freaking Believable !!! I am in utter awe ! The hours, upon hours, upon untold hours, plus expertise .. and I notice a decent sense of humor as well... Amazing piece of work.. SO WELL DONE !

Cameras attached to trains and vehicles are plenty available on TH-cam, just watch miniature wonderland Hamburg cabin view, it’s absolutely mind boggling and awesome
I love the beer drinking at the beginning. Can't wait for my trip to Germany at Christmas. To be truly realistic at least one of them would fall over or vomit after a while
The detail is amazing. I particularly like the fact that not everything is meant to look brand new--buildings, streets and even vehicles (Mercedes) . . . which in my opinion, gives the model considerably more authenticity and realism.
I imagine you really wanted to show the car traffic on the layout and I have to say that is impressive. One thing I really like is that the cars and traffic are moving at believable speeds and without jittery movements or too sharp turns. Very realistic.
Awesome display. I think I would've enjoyed putting it together more than the finished product. Would love to see a portion of my hometown Brooklyn, NY with the elevated Jamaica Line.
David Shaw Visit Miniature Wonderland (Miniatur Wunderland) in Hamburg! This Layout is there. There are also lots of other things. Its official the biggest Model Train Layout in the World and its amazing!
I'm a little unsure by your wording as to wether this is a small corner of Miniature Wonderland or just an incredible layout using their initial technology? But where ever this was it was truly mesmerizing. Wow, simply incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. I will be watching this video again for sure. Thanks.
I've only been to the Miniatur Wünderland once and I would love to go again! I would recommend going on a quite day, and to go with somebody. I went by myself, it was hard to get around and observe things properly. Still though, it was a great experience that I'll hold close for the rest of my life.

Strangely fascinating as I love the mobile vehicles and realistic traffic light sequences plus street sound effects. Obviously worth a visit wherever it's located?
The guy with the plate compactor @4:15 is hilarious. Is he working it or is it working him? I've used a plate compactor and thank goodness they are not typically this violent. He's gonna have scrambled brains by break time!
David R Lentz, USA Thank you lot so much for this immensely engaging tableau! I very would like to create much as this, albeit with cars, trucks (lorries and articulated?), a helicopter, in 1:25th-scale, incorporating a few overlapping G gauge railroad layouts, homes, buildings, structures, people, foliage, terrain, etc.
Probably not feasible since all the vehicles have self-contained power supplies instead of a large power supply sending power through tracks with the DCC signal encoded.
Unimaginable amount of hours of work must have gone into this masterpiece.

BRAVO 👍⚒️🏆🇬🇧
Look at the small detail on the roads. The paint rubbing away and the wheel marks on the tarmac. Amazing.
This video was incredible. The self-driving cars added such realism to the scenes.
Dude that jackhammer killed me, as it did the guy operating it!

The little guy at the jack hammer has a helluva ride. Lmao.
Everything is so amazing and awe inspiring in a small way.
The man on the hammer at 4.17 is just brilliant!
Bro smashing the ground

It’s absolutely amazing but you should experience it in person! The full scale blows you away
I would love to attach a tiny camera or something to a vehicle to watch as it moves throughout the miniature city.
They've done it.
And a remote control.
same here
You would be really disapppointed with the outcome. Those car tires are really hard and the cars have no suspension. So footage will be extreme shaky.
Cameras attached to trains and vehicles are plenty available on TH-cam, just watch miniature wonderland Hamburg cabin view, it’s absolutely mind boggling and awesome
WOW--One could spend HOURS on this display and still not see everything. Wonderful!

Really like the different types of detail and story-telling scenes on the model, very interest-capturing and inspiring!
Love the poor guy tamping the tar pit!
The jack hammer 😂
Great work
This video was incredible.
Makes me homesick for the Germany of my day -- the 1960s.
I'm a slot car guy myself, but I find my self watching these videos. Keep up the good work..
Thank you.
Absolutely brilliant! Such imagination and talent to create this. Thank you for sharing!
This is so amazing .... I have to see how the cars operate ...This is what model layouts for trains need
This display and how to get the lights cars working is so cool. It's almost life like. Thank you for the download of this video. Thank you 😊
Very impressive! The programming to keep everything coordinated must be quite complex. Wonderful details!
There appears to have been a workplace safety incident at 4:17...
I love the construction guy with the handheld compactor. The way he jumps around. 🤣🤣🤣
Take my glasses off and I could be looking at real streets. Congratulations on stunning work.
super detailed toy layout fun lots of fun ! awesome work done here
i could watch these all day
You're welcome.
I imagine you really wanted to show the car traffic on the layout and I have to say that is impressive. One thing I really like is that the cars and traffic are moving at believable speeds and without jittery movements or too sharp turns. Very realistic.
Superb model and the moving traffic had me stunned..
Hi thanks 🙏 a fantastic model city 🌃 detail is fantastic so much fun to see workings
I really enjoyed watching your little city. The guy with the jack hammer was very funny.
"little city" Miniatur Wunderland is the largest model in the world

Love cars on layouts, well done❤👍 this is super cool😎👏👏
Thanks very much for posting this.
Love it! - especially the wet streets. Really gives it some atmosphere.
they aren´t wet. the cars are running over the surface a few hundred times a day, so the matt colour got rubbed away and the shiny surface remained.
It's a wonder that they do. Simply beautiful. My congratulations. Greetings from México
Saludos desde Alemania!
Thanks for the great videos this's layout is fantastic definitely best Have ever seen in my 68years I've been on earth

so glad I stumbled upon here, I'm a sucker for dioramas
4:16 😂 How I feel when I don't get my way sometimes
Unbeschreiblich schön, tolle Videoaufnahmen, das ist einzigartig was hier zu sehen ist.

Lucky man, I want to visit this place so bad. But not so easy to fly from the US abroad on a limited budget.
What a fantastic set up ! It looks quite realistic and I loved to see some of the figures were animated 😁👍💕
4:16 - That asphalt-pecker is sooooo funny :)
WOW!!! Amazing creativity and work...Hats off👍👍👌👌👏👏
I would love to see the underworkings of the layout to see how they're able to make the trucks move along the roadway without a track.
Our life may be watched by someone like it.
The attention to detail is mind blowing.
nice model train video
This is how I saw my Hotwheels and Matchbox cars as a kid
same lol
This is so realistic. Brilliant
Super model!!! Mersi PILENTUM!!👍👍👍👌👌👌

Mußte doch zugeben, oder?
Schönen Sonntag noch 🙋
@@mausilein8522 ja klar, kennst du den Spruch der Modellbahner? Eine Modellbahnen darf nie fertig werden?
Very nice video and fun to watch. Have a nice day.
Very good display. The speed of the of the moving vehicles is out of proportion to the scale of the layout.
Another awesome video.
I love the time you take with each layout. You really get to explore it nicely this way!

Something very similar to this was used to create the city environment for the iconic 1983 HBO Feature Presentation intro!
Absolutely incredible detailed work!
Now if the boats did the same. But beyond my expectations as but WOW!!!!
Fantastic nice video love the scenery !!!!
🇩🇪Oh là là ! C'est magnifique !!!!
4:23 ... LOL !!! .. .this cracked me up !! ; D
in my bright and best future i will try to make such a beautiful thing like this one.....
AWESOME!!!!! Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
The jack hammer guy @4:18 is so funny!
These look spectacular, my favourite part is the city block. 2:01
Wow....😲how much effort and time did that take . you have remarkable skill.
Marvellous ! Congratulations !
Amazing work God bless you Amen
Strangely fascinating as I love the mobile vehicles and realistic traffic light sequences plus street sound effects. Obviously worth a visit wherever it's located?
It's the Miniature Wonderland in Hamburg, Germany.
That might be the greatest setup I've ever sow 👏

Fantastic and one of the best I ever have seen, if not the best!
Stuff those "most satisfying video you'll ever see" videos, this is satisfying.
Excellent as always
This layout is wonderful
You should watch it in person, live at Hamburg, Germany.
Wow! Cool Video. I was expecting model trains, this was a complete surprise to see the movement of the cars and trucks on the roads.
This is why the earth has great things
Outstanding layout!
Amazing seeing this perspective
Thanks for wachting.

Thanks 🙏 fantastic layout detail so great 😁 amazing of work gone into this
I'm in love one day, I would love to visit
WOW! Seriously nuts..I'm lovin' this.
Fantastic should be utilised as urban road sets surely
Found my new favourite genre of TH-cam video omg
The comment on slowing down the cars is accurate. Similar to DCC, the cars and trucks could match the scale motion. Otherwise, extremely nice!
Probably not feasible since all the vehicles have self-contained power supplies instead of a large power supply sending power through tracks with the DCC signal encoded.
Amazing, the best layout I ever saw. Peace 7
That intro gives me nostalgia vibes...
So detailed that looks too realistic!
These videos are so relaxing
The GOD will looking down us like this. Thank you the GOD
Incredible!!! I wish someone could build a similar masterpiece for Paris! Wonderfull job!! Friendly yours from Provins, France!!
