Great Hakka food video again Kirsty! I was watching the old ones and wondering when you would be posting a new one...great timing! Good thing your dad seems to enjoy cooking and hopefully he won't go on strike like the rest of UK otherwise we won't get anymore of these great videos! One dish I haven't seen so far is Hakka noodles/fried noodles...does your dad cook that too ? I think there was no roast pork this time - too much work stabbing the pork with the fork! Cheers!

Oh wow, just amazed (and very jealous :-)) of your big food feast. Your dad is so wonderfully skilled! He must be/have been a professional chef, no? My mouth is still drooling from all the delicious meals, almost to many to keep up. Your dad said we could ask for the char siu marinade recipe, well...dont mind if i do hehee. Thanks so much and cheers.

@KirstyLo thanks so much for replying! Oh gosh, favorite? Can't choose 😅 i really like the braised pork belly and the scallops..delicious!! But my all-time favorite has gotta be the 'woo diew kiew nguk' taro and porkbelly. So many fond childhood memories with that dish. Did you also eat that wrapped in lettuce? Cant wait for the char siu video. Thanks so much💋

@@KirstyLo You are welcome. Please keep the Hakka videos coming and we should try to bring the Hakka language back to be spoken more because, it's the most ancient Chinese language to ever come out dating right back to the Hans and Mings dynasties of the ancient Royal Chinese family eras. My grandmother's maiden name was the same as the ancient Royal Chinese family surname Zhang and we were related to Genghis Khan she once told me. We also speak the Hakka to our family which the ancient Royal Chinese family spoke too, who was born in mainland China too. But during the 1950s 1960s my family migrated to England to set up catering businesses and my mother came over to the UK to train to be a midwife, where my parents first met each other over 6 decades ago.
