Due to the Xenia performance boost hype, I was curios to test Call of Juarez 1(2007). Hilariously, I'm getting 720p and 120 FPS. It's a great experience. Unfortunately resolution scaling breaks graphics still. And in case most of you weren't aware, the Xbox 360 version of Call of Juarez 1 is the definitive edition with better visuals and extra content.
Hii Bro i have i5 7300hq 1050gtx 8gb ddr4 ram, can it run GOD of war 3 game. I tried somehow my custom settings and i got atleast playble fps around 25+ but while playing game freezes. Is it possible to Is it possible to apply some such settings so that atleast this game becomes Playable.
I dont know why but I love RDR1 significantly more than RDR2, these soundtrack, spaghetti western feel, mexico just much more western vibes I get from the game
I'm really hoping they are able to make some adjustments to the Vulkan layer soon. I can run RDR with a Gt1030 and i5 3.2 between 20 and 30 fps, but it stutters and stops a lot. Vulkan, I'm getting way more gains. The only issue I've seen so far is the minimap and the main map that don't show in Vulkan. Otherwise, the performance is great for high-end devices. I know a need a new PC, but it ain't gonna happen any time soon.
@@KeyvanDN yeah I did. No grass. No trees. No shadows. Oh the 20-30fps with stutters is on 480p upscale. Native 720p or 540p upscale with patches puts it into mid-teens. The same patches, native or 540p on Vulkan much more stable, a few drops and freezes but game is playable depending on your tolerance level I suppose.
@@KeyvanDN That is so weird. I wonder what the difference is? Very interesting. Regardless, I'm kind of happy that I can play RDR (I've never played it) and been wanting to for over a decade now. No xbox, ps3 broke, ps4 not backwards compatibility. So emulation is my only way right now. At the same time, with all the patches that improve performance, I wonder if I should keep waiting.
@@GamersTherapy I kinda had the same problem with uncharted series on rpcs3, running at 20 avg frames per second, and surprisingly I enjoyed it very much! I think if you love to play a certain game , Low framerate can't stop you from enjoying it, yes it's sometimes frustrating but IMO it's worth the hurry
I wish they would spend some time on a menu for the emulator after the new canary version i think performance has come to an level that is pretty good and some quality of life updates like a options menu are more necasary than more performance improvements

console version of mercenaries 2 is also the best version. might actually be the best version to play now that canary is playing well.
True very sad they never released call of juarez x360 edition for pc but now we can play it
GREAT NOTICE!
Is that a new update or its just the same update of your video before 2 days?

I'm looking to play Metal Gear Solid 3 HD Collection in the future on the RPCS3 or should i just play it on the New version of Xenia emulator?
Check the compatibility of this game on xenia's GitHub page, but overall I'd recommend rpcs3 for this game
if you have the processor for it mgs hd is fully playable at 60 fps
@@zackrida5452 is the i7 4790k w/ RTX 3060 doable?
@@BravoSixGoingDark it is a good processor but it has only 4 cores rpcs3 works best with 8 cores you have to try it yourself and see how it goes
could you test mercenaries 2 by any chance?

Did you use patches on the canary build?

@@GamersTherapy That's Interesting somehow, because I tried the game on vulkan and I got the exact opposite results (low fps and more fps drops)

Yea I was thinking of getting Xenia just for RDR1. I have RPCS3 and I really enjoy it but its just not good to play rdr1 on.
For me, red dead 1 works the same exactly plus it crashed and froze the pc... so the old xenia is better i guess for me
