I feel like most teens can’t communicate effectively in either a friendship or relationship. Plus most people’s brains don’t fully develop until the age of about 25. And it’s so important to understand who you are without someone else tied to you. it’s important to really figure out who you are and what you want for yourself while you’re single. Btw, I love your hair and accent. You made very important points in this video. I hope this reaches a larger teen audience.
I saw this video after cutting off contact with someone I loved the most on constant misunderstandings. It's like a perfect motivation to work on my life goals.
I agree with a lot of this but saying "your giving away your life to another person" Isn't correct in my opinion. I healthy relationship is one where both parties can work on themselves separately. Being able to see how much time you should be dedicating to them and the relationship while also keeping yourself as a main part of your life. You should be with someone that compliments you not someone that hinders you.
Of course that’s what healthy relationships consist of. But, what I’m saying is that as teenagers we tend to not have healthy relationships, hence “giving away your life to another person”. I completely agree and understand your point though.
