Yes, there are some good guitar duos out there, but M&M (Midori and Miyako) is the one that stands out the most for me. Their playing together, understanding each other and the way they support each other's playing is something I haven't seen or heard in a very long, long time. The usual Asami soaring vocals with the band thundering behind her and you have to love Haruna/drms who is twirling the sticks to keep herself occupied LOL. Miyako's usual emoting solo but even Midori's solo is crushing at the end and the harmonizing as usual is pure perfection. Atlanta on 9/6/2024 at Prog/Power is going to get a 90 minute set that will stun all those who will finally be exposed to and experience these insanely talented musicians.
