They are all very good, fire is a bit more meta for high keys but thats mainly for survivability and priority dmg rather than overall. I’d be playing frost if it wasnt raging week. Arcane is also amazing in keys atm, keep in mind there is an aug here if you are comparing to a non aug key yourself.
haven't expected to see ignite fire being viable again, kinda miss it, wasnt dependent on packs being rooted in flamepatch, so way less tank dependent, especially nice, if the tank needs to move due to kiting or sanguine...how much mastery did you run in that key? or is it still haste>vers>crit>mast as ignite fire mage?
Haste > crit = mastery > verse for ignite build. See a lot of BSL embellishments and over 50% crit. Balefire branch and genesaur blood are great trinkets for this build
people generally avoid mastery atm since its so bad in ST, but it is still very strong for aoe. The main way people get mastery atm is roundabout through going crit which is strong for ST and converts at 82.5% to mastery in combust.
i just remove my crit/mastery neck and my vers/mastery ring for haste/vers and haste/crit. And boom I have my fire gear. When we get more sparks I will make some blue silken lining replacements for my current mastery statted embellishments since I plan to play fire mainly in m+.

I thought I should save IB charges for combustion, but I saw you and other top players spend almost all charges of IB to build up skb's stacks fast, then begin mini combustion with 0~1 IB stack. Am I wrong? Should I spend IB stacks to build up SKB fast because I have PF&Scorch for combustion?
in general if you can save IBs for combust you should, in m+ people tend to be more lax than they should with it due to how fast packs die and the need to be in combust for ramping ignite and to do actual aoe
@@Manather so if the target lives long like a raid, saving IB charges for both Mini Combustion & Combustion is better regardless of AF talent? I thought it's because we don't take AF talent now; so if we don't spend IB to build up, we will spend it during combustion and there will be almost no chance to spend PF charges and wasting PF CD is worse.
Hello i want to craft some item and planning to play both frost and fire aswell can u suggest piece and stat what to craft to use for both does it even possible?
i mean it and flamestrike have the same rotation, you just replace flamestrike with pyro and vice versa lol. Its just the ramp up time that changes. This build will keep coming back because it isnt played for overall dps, its played for priority dmg.
@@Manather its cant be same rotation, when in flamestrike build you using mouseover for flamestrike, its another feel from gameplay on spec. Bro, my 485 fire mage with flamestrike build simc unbuff (only int buff) 495k in 5 targets, and i simc top 2 487 fire mage with ignite build, he have 550k+ in 5 targets. In 10 targets same picture, my 900k against his 950k, so iam under 50k dps, in 1 target my dps in flamestrike build 160k, ignite build 180k, so you rly say its not about overall, its about priority dmg? My secondary 39% haste 28% vers 32+ crit 11% mastery
