Hello, during my life I too have had abdomin pain. When I was in my late early 30s to 40s, my doctor discovered the cause were large "fibroids" in my utterous.. So, through surgery he removed after fibrous. After recovering the pain subsided. Then 10 years later 58 to 62years old, I was past menopause but at that time I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Before and After chemo and radiation, the abdomen pain returned, so I began a journey much like you described your pain and journey of abdomen pain. Right now, I have reduced alot of stress 8n my life so, my days are simple and peaceful. Eliminating stress has lessen my pain. But the pain is still there. So, by sharing our shared experiences, we all can learn something and possibly a solution. I am going to tell my doctor to look for appendicitis. Lots of 💘 & light, CL By The Seashore 🎏🐟🐡

    Welcome Back Dimma.
    To Everyone:
    Appendicitis is A CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS.
By Clinical Diagnosis, it essentially means the process of identifying a disease, condition, or injury based on the signs and symptoms a patient is having and the patient's health history and PHYSICAL EXAM.
Findings from the history, radiology and laboratory studies aid in the diagnosis appendicitis.
By Physical exam, we mean PHYSICAL EXAMINATION, which is the process of evaluating objective anatomic findings through the use of observation, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. The information obtained must be thoughtfully integrated with the patient's history and pathophysiology.
Most often than not, the physical exams done are not thorough enough especially with modern medicine which has led to development of 'quick-paths' vide nouveau medical 'advanced' diagnostics.
Regardless of these devices, PHYSICAL EXAMINATION is VERY crucial.
The 'most specific' physical findings in appendicitis are rebound tenderness at the Right Lower Quadrant of the abdomen (RLQ) pain on percussion, rigidity, and guarding. The sign elicited at the RLQ is called ROVSING SIGN.
Although RLQ tenderness is present in 96% of patients, this is still a 'non - specific' finding in appendicitis.
ROVSING is usually the only sign most Doctors try to elicit. They often neglect OTHER signs that could be elicited, such as:
    1. The obturator sign (RLQ pain with internal and external rotation of the flexed right hip) suggests that the inflamed appendix is located deep in the right hemipelvis.
    2. The psoas sign (RLQ pain with extension of the right hip or with flexion of the right hip against resistance) suggests that an inflamed appendix is located along the course of the right psoas muscle.
    3. The Dunphy sign (sharp pain in the RLQ elicited by a voluntary cough) may be helpful in making the clinical diagnosis of localized peritonitis. Similarly, RLQ pain in response to percussion of a remote quadrant of the abdomen, or to firm percussion of the patient's heel, suggests peritoneal inflammation.
    4. The Markle sign, pain elicited in a certain area of the abdomen when the standing patient drops from standing on toes to the heels with a jarring landing, "was studied in 190 patients undergoing appendectomy and found to have a sensitivity of 74%."
My take is Dr. FADIRAN most likely exhausted ALL SIGNS NEEDED to CLINICALLY DIAGNOSIS Appendicitis.
    That is a 'Good Doctor'!
May I add, there are various clinical scoring systems for appendicitis AS WELL AS Diagnostic Scoring for Various "Stages of Appendicitis"
Medical Doctors should also make use of this processes.
NOT to dismiss use of the 'advanced/advancing medical devices',
    - The diagnostic accuracy of MRI to diagnose appendicitis is very similar to CT Scan. So, no need of exhausting funds to do the two at the same time.
    - Abdominal Ultrasound Scan, CT Scan , MRI and Abdominal & Chest Xray (as Constipation and sometimes even pneumonia may be causing abdominal pain similar to that seen with appendicitis) are useful BUT not the MAIN LINE OF MANAGEMENT of Appendicitis (Chronic or Acute).
Again, Medical Doctors should exhaust all the signs that can be elicited, before resorting to Diagnostics (Medical Devices)

One thing I learnt from late last year to this year is that it's not about how good a Doctor you is, it's just God. A Doctor can be so good but not be able to give the right diagnosis or even give the wrong one but when God is involved, He can use even a quack to save you. Thank God for your life Dimma. Literally recovering from chronic appendicitis, I went through the same things, had to see gastroenterologist, said I had IBD . Finally my last doctor , requested a ct with contrast . And it showed that my appendix was swollen. By this time I lost 40 pounds🤦🏾‍♀️
I couldn’t function, can’t walk, you can’t do anything. I was admitted & they took forever to do my surgery. My appendix was already ruptured when they finally cut me & had to be flushed. Scary experience 🥴

I can really relate to your story so well because my 3yrs old son had the same surgery on appendicitis on may 8 within his birthday week & month too which was to clock 3yrs on the 5th. We plan to do birthday party for him on the 9th, on the 8th he had the emergency surgery to remove a ruptured appendicitis which we did second option scan after two weeks of treating malaria with different method of drugs & antibiotics given by the doctors in the hospital, but there was no improvement & this non-stop high temperature he keeps having even after taking the drugs, he's always sweating, not eating at all except water, vomiting especially when you force him to eat even if it's a spoon of food b'cos of the different drugs he was on, my son was so skinny, he's always weak, crying of stomach pain all the time😭😭😭, the whole pain & high temperature continued, until I started making research on Google on constant lower abdomen pain with the symptoms my son was having at that time and all I was getting was appendicitis as a result so I had to examine the stomach myself while I was about to bath him, low and behold there was a swelling on the right side of his lower abdomen, I touched the place, he screamed in pain and I touched the other part of his stomach and he didn't felt less pain, I called my husband's attention to what I just saw and told him that we need to go back to the hospital to see the doctor again and so off we went, on getting to the hospital, we were asked to run another blood test which we have done several times before resulting in no positive result except +2 malaria results, but the doctor insisted we rerun the blood test that this time we might see the root cause of the non-stop high temperature and that it could be infection that caused the swelling. We rerun the test, result came out, we were told he has infection and antibiotics was given to us to go back home administer it to him, watch him and see how he fares, then we should come back after three days. Hmmmmmm but Thank God for His Mercy, because as we were about leaving the hospital, another doctor suggested that we should do a second option scan aside the hospital because of the swelling on the right side of his stomach just to be sure, which we did and infact what we saw while the scan was being carried out, was pores from a ruptured appendicitis and that was how an emergency surgery was done on my little boy after he had endured & absorb so much pain😢😢😢 for so long, it was so bad that during the surgery, he's whole intestine was brought out in other to clean his stomach very well because of the rupture😭😭😢 it was really a terrifying moment for me and my husband mostly thinking about now, I give God all the Glory 🙏 for a successful surgery done on my son two months ago. He's fine now, active and eating again 🙏🙏🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I thank God for you too dinma for a successful surgery and recovery, God is really faithful! Please follow me thank God too for saving the life of my 3yr old precious son🙏💃

This story is meeeeeeeeee from A-Z, i couldn't even explain myself (the pain) to people, most of them thought i was over-emphasizing, it was HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLL ..... i don't like hospitals for anything, but i had to take myself to different hospitals just because of this, i told the Doctors different prognosis, they didn't even believe, i cant even explain all these very well........
But my testimony is that for over a year now, i haven't felt it...... Thank God, because i believe this is a permanent healing........ i hope, wish and pray your Testimony will be permanent as well, Amen.... Glad to have you back though

This reminded me so much of the time when my sister was going through the same pain for two years and the doctor couldn’t find anything wrong she had so many scans done and each time he would dismiss it for something else. Her appendix raptured and she felt a sharp pain worse than before and told me she was leaving to go see the doctor, after a scan they noticed some that it had raptured and I was told to rush my sister to the hospital for an emergency operation, I’ve never been so scared of loosing my sister in my life, I remember seeing her going grey while we waited for the doctor who was going to operate on her. I’m so glad you’re ok and didn’t have to go through what my sister went through

Welcome back Dimma. I'm so glad you are doing well now!
From what I know, a scan doesn't confirm appendicitis, it helps to rule it out. I wouldn't expect appendicitis to show on any scan.
The diagnosis of appendicitis is clinical, you have to do certain physical examinations to elicit the signs.

So glad you are better now!
I relate to everything you said.
This same thing happened to my father four years ago. The scans and xrays showed nothing. And I kept telling the doctors to look out for appendicitis because i felt strongly in my spirit. They ignored me. They decided to do a general surgery after many many weeks of him being in pain. They found out the appendix had almost raptured and would have affected other organs if they had not acted when they did. By God's grace he is healthy and well.

I can relate too. Had same chronic appendicitis from like age 9 and took it out at 15. Everyone kept saying I was lying and then it was period and then one story or another until the nausea issue and it practically rupturing and I had to get an emergency surgery done. I'm glad you're okay.
I had to gain more insight on it when I was in med school so I can help detect it early since everyone misses it.

Girl thank you so so much for this video! Chronic appendicitis DOES exist. I will be making my video soon. Mine was an absolute NIGHTMARE! Since a kid I was told it was ‘IBS’ nope that ibs does not exist. Something underlying is going on. Anyways I was always having stomach aches, nauseous, gagging. It wasnt until 2016 when weird mess was happening. My stomach would be distended as if I were 4 months pregnant and by the end of the day it would look 6 months. Thats the best way I can describe it
Anyways fast forward to 2020 on August I woke up and just felt weird. I gagged and gagged non stop without vomiting. My body was just trying to expel something I was confused. My bloodwork and scans were normal so I went to a hematologist/oncologist bc I thought I had cancer. My CEA level was elevated at 5.2. Normal ranges are 0-2.0. Cea is used in determining if cancer or tumors have shrunk mainly for the colon. It can also be raised in cases of inflammation. Immediately knew it was my appendix bc its located in the colon. My calprotectin levels were also insanely high. Im having surgery soon. So excited and ready to get my life back. Just imagine. Sick as a kid and ignored by doctors.

Thank God you are much better now💚As a physical therapist and health advocate, the first thing I was thinking was chronic appendicitis...In patients that I see with unresolved pain I usually do a few physical tests to rule in or rule out this condition...the Obturator Sign and Psoas Sign...this was probably the positional test the final doctor did with you.

I am touched by your story! From the moment you started your story I knew it had something to do with your appendix. I too went through the same thing but Acute Appendicitis… this happened to me when I was 20 years old. Two months earlier that year I went to the hospital here in the states for lower abdominal pain on my right side, they did MRI and CT scan and said it was UTI and treated me for that.. two months later my family and I went to Jamaica for a trip and the symptoms you described started happening the night before my flight.. I was vomiting, couldn’t even walk; long story short, I was hell bent on going on vacation to my country. A day later, while in Jamaica, I was rushed to the hospital because the pain became excruciating and unbearable.. The doctors at the hospital told my mom that surgery had to be done right away because my appendix had burst and was rotting. They said if surgery was not performed right away I would die!
The doctors in Jamaica did an amazing job even though it wasn’t one of the best hospitals.. to this day when I tell people my story they said I should be dead because who knows how long my appendix had burst inside me!! I am grateful to GOD to be alive to this and I’m glad all is well with you!! I am so happy that you had it removed before it erupted!! Glory be to GOD!

I truly can connect with your story, I've had terrible pain in my life and was operated on, the doctors said I had cyst adenoma, the pain was something else. At that point in my life I took my faith more seriously. I'm a Catholic too. God healed me, now I'm living my best life. Your healing is permanent.

Oh Dimma 😥! We thank God for your recovery! I'm sorry you were "let down" this long you've been so brave. Apart from the fact that the disease just didn't occur to anyone, I hate how the healthcare system (especially the NHS!) can be dismissive and cast you as a worrier instead of genuinely taking patients' recurring concerns seriously and exploring all possible options (costly to them I know but still, patient-centred care shouldn't be just a buzzword). To God be the glory😍, thank you for testimony! I hope it raises more awareness about chronic appendicitis I had never heard of it. (Thank you to your surgeon and to Google too! It can turn us into hypochondriacs but it is really an empowering tool in terms of finding out potential causes and treatments options).

Thank God for quick recovery and thanks for sharing this...I am also facing similar situation for years now I have been having severe stomach pain but when I get to the hospital the doctors will say there is nothing..I have lost 5 jobs due to this sickness..I basically have to stay at home, there was a time I was coming back from work(island) and going home(mainland),thankfully I was in a friend's car, this pain started,I was screaming, hitting my friend and mind you we were on 3rd mainland bridge around to 9...my friend was so scared,he thought I would die in his car..it was scary..sometimes I will be sleeping in the middle of the night the pain will start I will start screaming and shouting Jesus..crying everyday day..one day I went to another hospital and they said I have multiple fibroid but it isn't life threatening so it shouldn't be what is responsible for all this pain I described...when I was working,in the morning I will go to the hospital to take drip, injection and drugs before heading to work after I close from work I will head straight to the hospital for another dose..I was a complete shadow of myself spending all my money in the hospital and my meal became drips, drugs and injections...I became mentally, physically, spiritually, financially drained..I kept praying fervently, going from one church to another while some people say it's a spiritual attack, didn't even involve my parent cos my mom will cry river Niger tears which I didn't need at that point but strong people to encourage me and I am a shy person, don't keep friends,so I had to battle it alone until I involved few of my aunts..I was scared...The story continues on and on..till now I haven't found out what triggers that pain, haven't done the surgery for the fibroid, still have the multiple fibroid, still in pains..finally had to tell my parents and my mom cries once on awhile and pray for me with her hands laid on my tummy..so please dimma I also need that doctor's number I pray God gives me a quick recovery as well..Welcome back... #Cheerstogoodhealth#.....# HealthisWealth# can't trade that for anything...here is my Ig page please kindly dm Me the doctor's number(Adazeyaz)..God bless you guys please stay healthy 💖..

Oh what you said about the early 80s and 1990s. I had mine in 1998 in a hospital in Onitsha. Pain from boarding school I couldn’t walk straight, went to my Aunty in Onitsha, she took me to this doc who just said Surgery immediately. Went on Monday, on Wednesday I had the surgery. Afterwards, I was fine. Being fine since then.
Another confirmation that your body knows, if there’s something wrong there’s something wrong. Regards less of what doctors say. I am so glad you are well now.

I have quite a similar experience to yours. I had been dealing with lower right side pain for 7 years as well as extreme pain and many other issues during my menses. I've seen so many docs that I lost count who all dismissed the pain and other issues cause all scans were normal. Last year the pain became so crazy bad that I developed chronic anxiety because of it. I had an MRI which showed endometriosis in my ovaries so I underwent diagnostic laparoscopy surgery for endo. Turns out my appendix was covered and was being pulled down by endometriosis tissue and my bowels were greatly affected too. I really believe only the patient truly understands what they are going through but its a shame we had to suffer so long while seeing all these doctors.

Fully relate, I had severe ear infections for years. No Dr could help nor understand what was causing/ how to treat them. I was in pain so much, for so long I just started to accept that thats my life. No1 believed or cared, I was accused of being addicted to pain meds because of how much I would have try new meds to help me. I felt insane...I was frustrated and angry. I had spent so much on Drs... until 1 day this lady Dr, I say lady because before then I had only seen male Dr not by choice, its a small town, predominantly male Drs there. Anyway... after all that torture, this woman saved my life in ways she couldnt understand, till this day I thank her.

Hi Dimma, I don't usually comment, but I'm so glad you have shared this story. The question you asked God "what is this?" I know that question so well, I was suffering from Gluten Intolerance for a while now and did not know that is what it was. When you talked about the pain and how you can't focus on anything I understand that perfectly. One day I was asking God "what is this?" and the thought came Google gluten intolerance. As soon as I started reading the symptoms I saw myself, so I knew immediately it was the Holy Spirit who said Google GI. I was so happy to find out what it was and how to manage it. Prayer Works. I am happy you listened to the Holy Spirit and how are Healed God bless you my friend. 😊

Oh my Goodness this right here is God’s revelation to me, I’ve also been feeling the same pain for 2 years now and early this year it got soo bad that I was admitted at hospital, did a CT scan and they still said they saw nothing and that it was not my appendix. A day ago I was praying about this asking God to guide me by telling me what I should do next which doctor I should see and I come across your video 🙌🏼 I am definitely going to pray about this even more and I will definitely be considering getting my appendix removed as well. Thank you Jesus ❤️🙌🏼 I am so glad you are way better.
    .
This just reminds me of when I was in Highschool I and my sister would complain about lower abdomen pain and they will keep telling us oo we were lying nothing was wrong with us. A whole term (3months) we would stay in school crying everyday and they will be treating us for malaria without reaching out to our parents. Holidays will come we would go for test, scans they wouldn’t see anything.😩😭 this was hell because I felt mad trying to explain how I felt and no one could understand only my sister.
    .
We would go back to school same thing at some point I had to stop complaining about the pain and just hold it inside the nurses were like look at her she is fine she was just pretending all this years but then my sister couldn’t hold hers in. I have to have strength for my senior sister, I had to help her with everything cause her cause became bad. The school wouldn’t let you use phones, or talk to parents or even deliver a message if not it was straight EXPULSION!!😩😭
    .
I cried for a whole week in school I was depressed this pain made me fail and repeat a class people just felt I was just dumb but they didn’t know what I was going through. I was holding on to my pain and that of my sister’s own, I would cry throughout the whole term(3months) cause my sister will be in the sickbay receiving malaria treatment for 3months without them even playing on calling my parents.
    .
Now my dad was a board member and he would never joke with his girls 🤣, I left class one day strategically waited for my dad after they had board meeting with my principal behind him to make sure we never spoke to him every single time and now she knew my sister was really sick, I ran to my dad and said Somie is dying in this school😩 forgetting me I still had pains even after running to get to him. Immediately my dad was like where is she I told him the sickbay, school was on fire that Friday evening, he didn’t wait for any permission he carried her in his arms cause she couldn’t walk and put her in the car and drove off.
    .
It was just me in school left heiiii they punished m eh, but I didn’t care I was glad that my sister had gone. I had to steal a security mans phone for the night 🚶🏽‍♂️ I am sorry 🤣 I called my mum immediately and she started crying she said your sister is fine it was Appendicitis and the doctor said the malaria drugs they were giving her for monthsss was increasing it and it was at the point of busting. That same day she was taken home she was operated on immediately, she was on epidural and it was hell. But today we thank God she is doing well as a realtor in Abuja all alive and healthy and I also did my own surgery a year immediately after hers💃🏽💃🏽
