Yeah, this year's opening ceremony was by far my favorite, not just the preceding performances which killed it too, but the fact that they got to introduce the lineup too, while continuing to play. Amazing!

I feel this could very well be the "What I've Done/Optimus Prime speech" moment of a new generation (where I understand they gained a fresh crop of new fans, myself included, even though they were hugely popular from the very beginning). I think they're really lucky to be able to appeal to multiple generations of young fans, because that's what their music is all about: Youth, angst, emotion and power.

It's never been my thing or preferred genre, although I do like 2 or 3 of her songs. Anyway, I've seen in clips that she's pretty much always had a rising stage, and as soon as it almost hits the top she jumps up in the air out of it and it looks pretty cool.
For me, two of the things that made who I am today, linkin park and league of legends together. It was a dream. Best opening ceremony ever. Thank you so much for this.

I was there in the O2 Arena watching this live! So grateful for being there, the atmosphere, the delivery - simply breathtaking! Emily's scream while Worlds cup was slowly rising gave me shivers!! It was such an amazing experience, thank you so much Linkin Park for being part of this It's incredible to witness whole life favourite band in my favourite game ❤
