I know Lightning Fury is a great skill. But as you say it is a density clearing skill. I played around with a Lightning Fury Javazon and it was great at big groups but I didn't like using it with lower density areas. I look forward to your video about Lightning Strike. My main D2 character was a Javazon and I almost entirely used Lightning Strike and Charged Strike. The Javazon can easily be one of the toughest characters in melee. The Dexterity needed for Javelins mean you've already almost maxed out Block. The Dodge/Avoid/Evade skills were great in addition to the max block for elimination almost all damage coming in. With the toughness provided by these the melee lightning skills worked really well and you get all of the Life/Mana steal to make your fights extremely sustainable.
Love your videos. Very informative. Just a little advice for future videos: If you target relatively inexperienced Diablo players as your audience, then you should probably say "Thunderstroke javelins" instead of just TStroke. Otherwise, they would have to google what you mean.
I swear coming from playing a Trap Assassin it has me questioning every skill. Is the frame rate for lightening fury based off of faster cast rate? Or attackspeed? I'm sure it's faster cast rate and I mostly ask you this to get more comments on your videos. Every video I throw a like on because your guides are basically the game manual at this point
I don't even play Amazons (time for my customary disclaimer; the class is outstanding, it just doesn't fit my playstyle. I'm eternally grateful for people who enjoy the class, I just prefer to play the game a little differently) and even I know that Lightning Fury is a Ctrl+A > Delete command for packs of enemies. The skill is somewhat reminiscent of Fist of the Heavens from Paladin for me, except it's not limited to specific targets. Smart targeting improves the damage of the skill exponentially.
just physical/ranged attacks not spells. So lightning fury is a ranged jav throw, with on hit damage. The lightning charms would get added to the on hit damage. Not the Lightning fury lightning bolts.
Yes, and also no, It applies to the on hit application of physical damage, not to the lightning bolts. The on hit is what gives you life and mana leech.
@@Ixiah27 any of the synergies for lightning fury, it's only 1% per point it's not as important to max them all. You can sacrifice some for more utility. Lightning strike is an easy one that comes to mind
