    fun fact about Luna Lovegoods character. In real life she was fighting a deathly illness and wrote to JK, about how the harry potter books were a source of light for her fight. She was so touched by her story she said if she beat her illness she would cast her in Harry potter and make a character just for her. That is why Lunas character comes out of nowhere. She is one of my favorites too!

    Another great reaction!
    This is where Harry Potter crosses the line from kids' movie to grown ups movie. The tone is darker from the get-go.
    The special effects are the best yet.
    The acting is beautiful from the older cast, and I would say the best, so far from our three wee leads.
    I would say this is the hardest page to screen of them all, and they did it well, in my opinion.
    P.S. Umbridge is the devil.

    42:10 Daniel had had a recent family death just days before they filmed this scene. He drew upon his real feelings here. It is said they silenced the scream because it was too intense.

    • @jordy9096
      @jordy9096 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This isn’t true, the director literally said it was to make it operatic, this is a fact that has been made up by fans because its sounds interesting.

    • @jordy9096
      @jordy9096 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      During the special 50 Greatest Harry Potter Moments, director of Order of the Phoenix David Yates, talked about Sirius's death scene. He stated the following about it:
      "I wanted it to feel quite operatic. That’s why it’s slowed down. And yeah, I wish I'd slowed it down even more, actually. In hindsight, I sort of wanted to really milk it."[1]
      This implies that the scene was muted and slowed down in an effort to milk the scene's emotional content, making it more potent for the audience. By slowing and muting it, it would allow the audience to process the death on their own terms, instead of hearing the characters’ audio reactions. This is the official explanation for the muting.
      "Dan's scream was real because his grandma/grandpa had just died that morning"
      Dan was acting in that scene. He even spoke in an interview about how Gary Oldman helped him prepare for that moment specifically because he didn't know how to pull it off:
      After all, it was Oldman who taught Radcliffe how to act “bereaved” in the first place, since he had no idea how to put himself in Harry’s place when he’d lost someone he loved.
      “It’s kind of hard to find that level when you’re 15,” Radcliffe said. “But he came up to me and said, ‘Do you mind if we get a bit intense?’ And then he came towards me. I thought he was going to hold me, but he shook me and screamed at me! So hard that when he let me go, I almost fell. I wanted to go crawl up in a fetal position. And then he said, ‘Throw your head back and scream.’ And it worked.”

    Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying. (Sadly, it messed with her mental health. To the point where she would become physically ill because of the actions of her character)
    When I first saw Grawp, I thought he looked like the illustrated kid on the cover of MAD Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman.
    Also....
    Cornelius Fudge, after seeing Voldemort: He's back....

    42:10 Fun Fact: Daniel Radcliffe's (Harry's actor) Grandma passed away the morning the same day before shooting this scene. The muted scream was a genuine reaction to hearing the news. Dan was in soo much pain from losing his grandma, and he was soo emotional during that scene. He started crying for real, and he had to take a break before continuing to shoot. And it was also so painful for everyone to hear that scream. Everyone started to cry, but the actors who played Hermione and Bellatrix were crying the most. In the end, they decide to keep the scene but mute the audio due to how gut wretching the scream was

While Umbridge she had her own patronus bcs her happiest memories is about her torturing people or like seeing someone hurt or sad. Like you can see in her face when she's done torturing someone she would be so happy and even smiled really big💀

He is a miserable man who 'enjoys' making other miserable but gets no real happiness from it. He simply thinks he's better than everyone (he technically is magically...except Dumbledore) and therefore, theu all have to follow and listen to him. Even if he got what he wanted, he wouldn't be happy

    The actor who said, "Dumbledore's got style," is familiar to you if you ever saw Raiders Of The Lost Ark. He was the ship's captain who tried to save Indiana Jones before being stopped by the Nazi submarine. Also, Imelda Staunton, who plays Umbridge, is an incredible actress and singer. I highly recommend a British comedy movie called "Peter's Friends" which also stars two other Harry Potter actors, Sybil Trelawney, and Guilderoy Lockhart.

    Apparently, Umbridge's mother was a Muggle and her brother was a Squib - a source of huge embarrassment for the family. Perhaps their abandonment and retreat back into the Muggle world had such a huge impact on Umbridge that it became the catalyst for her Muggleborn-targeted cruelty later on in life

  • @mervinmannas7671
    @mervinmannas7671 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    The wizarding world is a very small one. Many of the large wizard families are related to each other in some way. On the Black family tree Sirius points out Bellatrix his deranged cousin but next to her is a black mark with the name Andromada. There are 3 sisters Bella, Andromada and Narcissa. the daughters of Cygnus Black (Sirius' Uncle) and his wife Druella. Bella marries Rodolphus Lestrange (another pure blood and death eater). Narssisa marries Lucius Malfoy and is Dracos mother. But Andromeda marries a muggle born wizard Ted Tonks and is the mother of Nymfhadora (the girl with the changing hair colour). Also the prophecy was originaly made by Professor Telawney many years prior. Voldermort knows of it existance but not its full content. He fixated on James and Lily as two people he needed to get rid of but the prophecy could just as easily have applied to Neville as their backgrounds are similar.

    In Movie version they show Dumbledore very less powerful. Here is the book version in short. Please read it
    “But Master - he is here - he is below -”
    Voldemort paid no attention. AVADA KEDAVRA!”
    Harry had not even opened his mouth to resist. His mind was
    blank, his wand pointing uselessly at the floor.
    But the headless golden statue of the wizard in the fountain had
    sprung alive, leaping from its plinth, and landed on the floor with a
    crash between Harry and Voldemort. The spell merely glanced off its
    chest as the statue flung out its arms, protecting Harry.
    “What - ?” said Voldemort, staring around. And then he
    breathed, “Dumbledore!”
    Voldemort raised his wand and sent another jet of green light at
    Dumbledore, who turned and was gone in a whirling of his cloak;
    next second he had reappeared behind Voldemort and waved his
    wand toward the remnants of the fountain; the other statues sprang to
    life too. The statue of the witch ran at Bellatrix, who screamed and
    sent spells streaming uselessly off its chest, before it dived at her, pin-
    ning her to the floor. Meanwhile, the goblin and the house-elf scuttled
    toward the fireplaces set along the wall, and the one-armed centaur
    galloped at Voldemort, who vanished and reappeared beside the pool.
    The headless statue thrust Harry backward, away from the fight, as
    Dumbledore advanced on Voldemort and the golden centaur can-
    tered around them both.
    “You do not seek to kill me, Dumbledore?” called Voldemort, his
    scarlet eyes narrowed over the top of the shield. “Above such brutality,
    are you?”
    “We both know that there are other ways of destroying a man,
    Tom,” Dumbledore said calmly, continuing to walk toward Volde-
    mort as though he had not a fear in the world, as though nothing had
    happened to interrupt his stroll up the hall. “Merely taking your life
    would not satisfy me, I admit -”
    “There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!” snarled
    Voldemort.
    “You are quite wrong,”
    “Indeed, your failure to un-
    derstand that there are things much worse than death has always been
    your greatest weakness -”
    Dumbledore never failed down in book version. Voldemort was nervous entirely while face Dumbledore. Voldemort go inside Harry coz he failed to face Dumbledore.
