Hi. I changed the battery and now if I turn off the surface and try to turn it on without a charger connected it indicates that the surface has no battery. I put the charger in, turn it on, remove the charger and it works normally. Do you know what could be causing this?

How did you get the battery to finally work. I have 3 replacements that the unit wont recognize. Only the original.
