well don’t feel bad abt it. The people that buy new cars have to deal with monthly payments. If you buy a decent used car, there’s nothing to be ashamed about. You won’t be dealing with $600 monthly payments like the teens who buy new cars are dealing with. Plus their insurance is going to be so much more than yours cuz of their new car 😂

100% I decided to buy a 38k car at 20 while making 2400 a month… yeah I returned it, new flashy car but I’d rather finance a 10k car while making $190 car payments with 5 year warranty. Save up money, pay it off. Drive it for another 3-4 years, trade it in and hopefully with a better paying job and after college you can afford a better car

I barely got my license last month, I’m 22. I was able to get a 2013 Corolla. Financed but put a good chunk down, I’m not keen on car notes either lol! I’m able to fare well w my bills. I was able to install a new apple car play system. Its nice to have the bells and whistles without the heavy burden! And you got one of the more reliable generations of an already reliable auto manufacturer! WHAT A STEAL!

I did ask my dad if I could put it under his name but he completely shut down the idea. Will find a work around somewhow, thank you for coming into my reccomended!

I used to have the same car you have. A Toyota Corolla of that generation. Sadly the engine died at 360k miles. So I replaced it with something a little newer and nicer. A sporty luxury 2008 Lexus IS250. Great car. I like how you named your car. My Corolla didn’t have have a name but my Lexus has one, it’s Luna. Take care of your Corolla it’ll take you 350k miles or more.
I have a 2009 white Kia Rio I bought it march of 2021 with 99K miles on it and it’s close to 127K miles now, I bought it all by myself only thing my parents helped with was finding the car and it’s on their insurance which I pay my share of it, I hope to get a new car in the near future but I’m loving not having a car note to deal with lol
My first car was a 2006 corolla and it is still going after 250,000+ miles on it so these are sooo reliable. I no longer have it but it was a very good car.

You could easily sand paper that down with 5k grit and then spray paint it buff it then gloss it for a finish
