Tonny , you were lucky to be there in 1987 .Some of us enjoyed his first performance in Kenya in 1993 at the city stadium. It was incomparable to anything else I have seen. He was , definitely God’s gift to Africa.

Keep on living music of the giant Luambo. Note that this is what has made Congo Democratic Republic the undisputed world music industrial giant, hence a UNESCO WORLD MUSIC HERITAGE SITE. Any professional and/ or academician of proprietary concern will definitely agree with me that the world organisers should have done so as early as not later than mid 1970s (ref: Nyoka Longo, Soki Vangu, Dr Nico, Tabu Ley, Verkys, Mpongo Love, etc)
