It was exilerating when they first came on the scene many years ago now. Still love them though. Haven't seen them live for quite awhile because they don't come up to us in the great white north anymore, closest is St Paul 5-6 hours away. Need to make it there to see Al and the west tour crew again! 👍
Some people say that, but I think that’s just nostalgia. I agree I liked it better when there were less screens but I don’t think they’re a parody of themselves, the band has evolved like it was always meant to, while still having an somewhat intact core. I think what concerns me is when Chris or Al or Robert Kinkle retires. Jon Oliva too, though I’m not certain if he still writes for them. I mean things changed when Paul died, but the immediate successors were all people who spent decades building it with him, so it’s survived. My hope is that it will continue to outlive them too, and can be successfully passed onto a generation of composers who didn’t work with Paul but know what he wanted and would do it. That will be the ultimate test of if Paul’s idea and ideal (his words) can survive. It will be difficult but I want it to be around in 20 years when I have grand kids to take them.
And west is what I’m used to, I’ve only ever seen west in Texas. Except for 2012, it was great seeing the full mix for BLN. Getting to see East members once.
Thank you for posting this video so quickly. I have been watching them for years (Western Tour). God bless you!!

If hopefully the minneota winter weather holds!
Full setlist please!
Do you have the setlist?
Great recording, thanks for posting. I am be in the minority, but I miss the older TSO concerts. They feel more like a parody of themselves now.
I kind of agree with you. The ones from the late 2000’s-early 2010’s were really good

I'm so used to the East Group

Wow the crowd sucks!!!!
@ TSO crowds have always been pretty tame. I’m not sure why
