- HELLOOOO and welcome to my jewelry collection! I love jewelry…it’s easily my favorite thing to shop for, and I’m a big believer in saving up for quality pieces that I can wear everyday without worrying about them tarnishing or breaking.
I love solid gold pieces, either in 9k, 10k or 14k gold, and really love the look of stacking lots of rings and earrings to create lots of texture. I honestly wear very boring outfits most days, so jewelry is a great way for me to feel put together every day!

Im a solid gold girl myself my collection is a bit out of hand. I highly highly recommend vintage stuff because of the deals. It’s addicting when you know where to look plus you get unique pieces at much better prices

I am addicted to jewelry too! Omg every country I’ve been to, I buy jewelry as souvenirs and now it’s gotten out of hand but I cannot get rid of any of them. I’m also a sucker for gemstones, not because of healing properties, I just love the different colors and especially the raw looking or druzy stuff.
I think out of all my friends, I’m the crazy one when it comes to jewelry but my Mom and I are both the same. We beeline to the jewelry section just like you!

Yes the higher the karat the more expensive it is. But the higher the karat, the softer the gold is and can break easily. for durable jewelry that you can beat up 14K is the best! It’s more than half solid gold. 10K is only 41% gold so it’s still great but can tarnish still and will have to be cleaned every few years.
I’d recommend David yurman if you want to start mixing metals

You mentioned a few brands you like but I think it would be super fun if you made a video (maybe like screencast with your commentary?) showing different brands you like and/or explaining your taste and what kind of designs or elements you like in your jewelry. I’d love to find some new brands to explore as I’ve only ever purchased from Etsy, and I find it super interesting to learn about different people’s taste in jewelry (shape, cut, design feature etc.)

You remind me so much of Rachel Weisz! Amazing collection! I'm just building my fine jewelry collection now! I love not only the way it looks but how it makes you feel 😍 I also prefer solid gold. I have seen some more trendy pieces that are gold filled that look nice tho. Here in Australia 9 karat is the standard. It's affordable but I would love to get more pure stuff in the future.

Hi, I've been wanting to get thing simple stacker rings from Mejuri but I read some forums that their 14k rings bend even with daily wear, and I believe that's not included in their 2 year warranty. I know you said that you wear these rings all the time, but do you have a favorite that you get affordable 14k rings from? Or have you ever had experience with Mejuri rings bending/getting scratched up? I'm just afraid to spend the money and be disappointed lol.
so I haven't had that experience with my mejuri rings, but I definitely own some of the chunkier ones! the dome rings are pretty large and sturdy which helps keep them from bending. I'm not sure about how the thin stackers hold up! but i do love Catbird NYC, Lisa Gozlan and Local Eclectic too :)

I don’t like getting anything under 14k because the color looks more dull yellow. However, I do like getting 10k for rings or bracelets because they get more beat up during my day to day and 10k is a slightly more sturdy/stronger metal comparatively.

My husband got 24K thick necklace from Dubai for me… and it’s so yellowwww😔😭 But that’s how pure gold is. Beautiful necklace but I don’t like to wear it too much.
24k of the purest of gold, not 22k. But 9k & 10k has what I understand to be zero melt or resale value. I learned that 22k is minimum standard for gold internationally. I’m obsessed with jewelry videos too. All that said, I want the value of 24k but I honestly think 14k has the prettiest color and not to dull but not too orange
