I've used a small propane bbq for temporary indoor heating. The trick is to make sure the burner can be turned down to its lowest setting to avoid getting carbon monoxide. Also make sure that you're not completely closed into an airtight shop. Keep any other flammable and explosive gas and chemicals a safe distance from your propane heater if you're using one inside your garage or shop.
And.... that secret is how the Firetruck did you end up in My shop!?! Love u Ave!

There used to be a yellow power wagon at the shipyard my grandfather worked at. I was about 5 or 6 at the time and I thought that was the coolest truck I'd ever seen. Still looks wicked!

There’s another clue Avery. It’s yellow, it’s Army, its covered in road tar. With that information, I’m guessing runway! I even wonder if the Jack stand they bolted to the front was maybe used to tuck it into an airplane. Just got me thinking when you said road tar. Oh yah, I watched the other transmission video first. You guys are beasts in that cold environment. No wonder when you start, you go full speed. Love it guys. I’ll watch these with joy.

Pretty sweet those shoes have that clip to hold those shoes in place to where you want them..most vehicles never had those and had pins with little keepers and a pain in the butt to work with..Those adjusters were nice to have too..nothing like those old rubber plugs that you had to pop out to get a screw driver in the slot to adjust the brakes..so much easier to work with those type of adjusters than the old ones they switched over to..Sometimes old tech is better
service vehicles are always the best ones to buy when shopping..They may have lots of miles but they were usually always kept up on the maintenece..oil changes and stuff like that..Of course knowing the history helps on who or what outfit owned them originally says allot about the care they recieved..i know i worked for a auto parts store and our delivery trucks we had were well maintained and they always got new parts when the slightest signs or wear would show up..Everyone knows an oil change is the most important service for a vehicle..you do that regularly then the motor will last a lifetime

As the owner of a 1960 W300M PowerWagon (Identical to what you have there), I can sympathize with you... brakes, tranny, transfer case, and axles are all PowerWagon hell. Not to mention the man killer 2-part steel wheels. The old flathead six (85hp?) isn't bad though. And the old body is perfect 1938 dodge truck art.
