    thanks, have seen some pro's wearing these during videos of spray guns, nice to know what they are, could you also say what the overalls are too.

    Great video Gabriel! I just had our distributor order me one of these and was wondering what you use for a carbon monoxide detector. We got the dan-am ones that mount inside the hood but I don't know if they're any good or a pain in the ass.

      We have one outside the booth hooked up to the air that comes in the booth not sure where it's from haha but we get our sir tested every 6 months

    Never had a full face mask but lately i have been thinking I should probably invest in one,just not sure I will like having all that over my head while painting,is it cooler having the airflow in the full mask during the warm summer months?
    Great video man

    Hey Gabriel, I have a quick question if you have time to answer. I have never used anything other than a basic 3M respirator, in south Louisiana where I live, I’ve never worked with a painter who wore a suit or a fresh air respirator before, however after 8 years painting I would like to do this. Does this mask pull air from the same compressor your gun pulls air from? Do you just set up a 2nd air line in your booth and zip tie the two lines together so they stay together? Or does it pull air from a secondary air pump that you keep elsewhere?

    what is better? this or the 3M versaflo TR-600??? I am afraid of pushing air out of the compressor into my lungs... do you have a special compressor for that?

    I wondered about that hood. Glad you posted this. It seems bulky to me though. So the seal is good and you do not get any fumes in the mask? Just seems like you would the way the face seal looks. Thanks Gabe

      Trey Stults the mask creates a positive air pressure, so even if it doesn't seal 100% around your face it should "blow" the overspray away and keep it from getting inside

    I have some trouble with my hvlp guns. the mask uses too much air, there is not enough for the gun. would like to reduce the air to the mask more than is possible with the build in reducer. my compressor gives 1500L/min at 8 Bar to an 1000L tank. so this is NOT a small setup. maybe there is a trick ?

    Any reason you don't use a belt mounted respirator? Avoid the need for another air line?

    • @Viney012
      @Viney012 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because the powered belt ones are just drawing in the air that’s around you defeats the object

    • @Josecunyat
      @Josecunyat 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Viney012 clean air supply yes… but there is oxidation within the air compresor deposit with lot’s of water condensed that mix with that oxid. Then in some compressors there is oil… there are particles that might get in, pistons have friction and defrade over time. I know there is some filtering, but you can never get everything out of the air. So I dont see it as a perfect solution either.

    I saw this movie for the second time today and I will tell you. The mask is lame and I am not talking about visibility or comfort. If you really paint a lot, this isn't a mask for you. Stata, in my opinion, focused on the appearance .. Durability is low . My friend and I painted cars for a year sata 5000 broke 10 times and Stara stata vision 2000 never !!!!!!!!!! . Together, we painted several thousand cars. (Factory work)
