My Mom went to trade in her 2005 1.8t A4 with 61k miles... needed a new convertible top motor, AC unit and radio. Dealer offered her $1000....I bought it from her for $1500 and put in a new satnav head unit and fixed the convertible top myself. I love this thing!! Ive had it for 3 months now. Northeast US.
Met Jamie just as he pulled in at JW Autoshine with this car.TBH car looks really good close up.Thought I’d call in for a few detailing products seen as I’m here on holiday.Had a long chat with him, nice bloke
A Very nice car. I have one of these for summer in the color silver. It is the 2.4 170 hp V6. The engine sounds a little better, but feels a little slower. It is my comfortable companion for the summer months as an additional car. It wasn't expensive and I would buy one again and again. No matter whether 1.8T, 2.4 or possibly also as 3.0. Tomorrow I will take another tour through the "Erzgebirge" (Ore MMountains) with my wife and two children. We are looking forward to a relaxing Sunday. :)
So the book says 9.2secs to 60, but you ‘feel’ that it’s ‘slightly quicker’ and probably 7 secs. You do realise that to knock 2 seconds off the time needs a hell of lot more power?? No way it’s 2 secs quicker if it’s unmodified.
Yep and all that aside this B6 era one really looks great still, especially with the roof down. A 3.0 quattro or the V8 S4 is incredible value yeah. The electrics can play up but the engine is solid. Amazing value right now
Yep common fault with them....roof material shrinks with age and the glue gives up the ghost. Just re-glued mine, but still a lot of car for the money, love mine ;-)
Needles to say, my 03 Leon Cupra 1.8T costs £365 PY to tax currently. And £700 for your Audi A4 1.8T on that mileage is great value. Curiously though, which engine & gearbox code does this use?
5 speed Manual all day long a nice ride but Audi and other car manufacturers ruined good cars putting cvt transmission in them I have a A4 b6 V6 cvt would love it to be a Manual but it is what is that's a nice Ride you got for 700!!.
I have the 2.4 V6 had her for ten years love her. So reliable and smooth

Lovely car, I had one for about 5 years. Dark blue, with that interior cruising down to Cornwall top down it was bliss. Shame a bus thought otherwise
Had a 3.0 v6 , Drove everywhere in sport mode, Loved the growl.

@@kys4492 4000 €

engine shat itself and oil and water mixed! Was a shame because it was a really nice car and drove really nicely

Had a 2.4 v6 in estroil blue definitely a good shout
I've picked 3.0 V6 for a grand two weeks ago. Grey body red roof and interior, etc. You can easily find a bargain this days on the market 😊
Great to see the reviews back, dude - enjoyable content! :D
Hi Jamie,my Audi A4, same colour inside and out
Looks lovely condition on camera, for the money is crazy nice. How did you get it so cheaply.
I have the 2005 a4 1.8t cabriolet in black, and black interior, love the car, my car is on 88k miles
My mum has a 2005 1.8T S line one in black. Was a nice car, but near the end of her ownership the rear glass kept falling out of the roof 😄
My mum had the same and same thing happened
Yep common fault with them....roof material shrinks with age and the glue gives up the ghost. Just re-glued mine, but still a lot of car for the money, love mine ;-)
What is asking price
Hi there can you get this in automatic for the same price
I just bought 55 plate one this weekend. A light blue one.
How's the car any issues
@jamieboyce5162 it's been okay. With the exception of leaking cooling water, which got fixed 2 months ago
I'm looking to buy a 56 plate 1.8 tomorrow and was just wondering if there reliable thank you for replying

1.8 20v turbo
A4 cabrio has BFB
Don't look at car tax as annually look at it monthly like the Insurance. I know it's the same money but not 1 big hit.
Bargain price still looks very modern .
Just avoid the S4 variant ... declared myself bankrupt after ownership....
Do u want to sell the Audi
Hi Jamie,you can’t go wrong with that Audi,great fun,I’d buy it,looks awesome
Wait till the electrics go wrong, 😂😂 mine did I scrapped it 😂
Had a hard top version…Electrics are a critical fail had a dashboard fault that cost £600 + VAT and couldn’t guarantee it would work 🤦🏾♂️
My electrics went every worked just not with correct switch ,I could let windows down with the folding mirror switch 🙃
Don’t make the same mistake I did. Buy the petrol!
I'd rather have a saab 93 soft top if you Want retro 😜💪😅
Jamie, your not an 'older gentleman's your only in your 30's what are you going to call yourself when your in your 40's ,a coffin dodger !?😄
