I agree but even Alexandria can’t dupe MFK Oud Satin Mood extrait like DUA. DUA’s is an Attar and it’s 99% perfect copy of Oud Satin Mood and it lasts all day. It’s a beast. But it sold out fast. I got one bottle and regret not buying 10 bottles. I could have sold them for double. It’s THAT good. But sold out for now. I am keeping an eye on DUA website for its come back. Coz I know it’s gonna sell out fast again.

Have you tried Ouddiction? Their take on Initio Oud For Greatness. It's a pretty good interpretation of thr original. I would say around 85% similar. Opening isn't as sweet but overall solid fragrance.

I love spice & wood, I've brought 3 x 5mls off fragrance samples so kno the original. Had high hopes for Arabian Forrest, its about 60% close, has encre noir heavy feel & none of the Creed airiness. However if you want something in the 95% range, layer it with Perfume Parlours version(1 for 1 AF base & PP on top) it's a winner. I paid £15 50ml P.P with shipping & £35 50ml Arabian Forrest. You can try it with a 15ml sample size from each for only £15 & £5.

I purchased Arabian forest and never Smell the original Creed. it has deceptive longevity. this is a light & airy scent. it would be difficult for some people to detect all day long but its definitely still there.

@Roberto... I can definitely respect that. My advice is to be patient. Dua has been really HIT or really miss for me, and so far Alexandria has knocked all of the frags I've tried out of the park. I'd just save up and wait for one of his 15% or 25% sales and go for it then.
Based on your review, I've ordered also a sample of Casanova. To be honest I dont know what I have to think about this fragrance. On one hand its appealing an interesting scent (really good projection & longevity!) on the other hand its a bit old-fashioned. I have mixed feelings If I should like it or not...Maybe it has to grow on me. Which occasion do you recommend for it? By the way Deep Blue is also a really really nice summer scent by Alexandria, highly recommended!

I’m very new to the world of niche. I’m still in college and don’t have the money yet to buy the originals, so I was very excited yesterday to receive the two fragrances I ordered from Alexandria. Unfortunately, neither of them worked for me. I had read that By Kilian’s Black Phantom is unisex; however, Alexandria’s impression pulls very masculine on me. All I could smell was rum, and almost all my husband could smell was the sandalwood. On to the second one. May anyone tell me why Interplay Extrait smelled like leather on me? I’m so confused as the initial spray had some sweetness that completely disappeared after a few seconds. All I was left with was the scent of leather that never went away. My husband said he smelled a very faint sweetness and ONLY woods. He said that he never would have thought it was unisex. Considering Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait is supposed to be sweeter than the original, I’m disappointed to say the least. I have never smelled the original; yet, now I’m very curious to see if my opinion changes. I wanted to love it as much as everyone else seems to, but it really was a scrubber on me. :(
Do you let your fragrances macerate for a few weeks before using them? If you don’t, you should. Spray the fragrance a couple times when you receive it so that the juice comes out. At that point, leave the cap off snd let it set for 2-3 weeks. This has made a huge difference for mine. Anything that’s not a designer fragrance needs this process. Hope this helps.
Shame Creed Neroli won’t last, I’d totally buy, I will one day but right now I need a “power house” ish citrus, I also bought Castle Forbes Neroli (special reserve 😉) if anyone has any experience with that plz let me know
Belated great show, Dan. I get magical enchanted forest out of Casanova: can smell the Shakespeare play; unique, unisex and Roja-regal as described. I flat love Dirty Orange: Creed's "Eau de Cologne" with their ambergris and necessary for summer. I own or have sampled all mentioned; agree with your assessments. Clive X smells like Big Red chewing gum to me. Advise anyone to check out Alexandria's sample packs. Great value clone and opulent original creation house. Recommend Boschetti Della Costa (Creed Jardin di Amalfi). Beautiful.
Got Game Time a couple days ago. Definitely less of a daily scent and more of “here-and-there”/every other day type of scent. It was an ok smell on my first impressions and I wasn’t fond of it the first spray, but after using it again today I can say I know it’ll grow on me and I’m definitely liking the smell on the dry down. It’s like a kind of like a flower took a light dip in pineapple juice, and then dried off near the smoke of burning flowers.
Interested on your views on the ethics of how clone houses piggyback on the creativity of the original perfumers efforts, especially in light of the release of "Boardroom for Men" and the imminent release of Gravitas.

@Yaki Kadfi.. you are correct, but many of the frags they are "Cloning" are 3X the per ml price. Look up any By Kilian or Roja Dove's per ml. These are also PARFUM EXTRAIT concentration, not EDTs.

For the people who are new to the niche market, don't buy into these "clone" houses. They give this youtuber pumped up versions of the perfumes they sell only to get people excited! I'm from turkey and we have a store called Bargello that sells dupes (really well performance) for only €5 (50 ml). Trust me when I say.... if that store can sell good quality dupes for only €5 these perfume houses like Alexandria are ripping people of!
I bought two perfume from Alexandria. Yes, they smell good but don't even last 15 mins on my skin or clothes. Waste of 120 dollars. I do not recommend it.

They sent me four samples, all weak smelling, the fragrance disappeared in 15 minutes - these were The Irish Gentleman, Anubis Kiss, Golden Rush and Hafez 1984.. DO NOT BUY. Their response to me was they have a successful business 🙃 I would point out that it depends what the aim is. If it is to sell crap for a few years and make millions in the process then perhaps they have a great business model.
I did not try any of the scents you mentioned, but my experience with Alexandria Fragrances has been the opposite. I've ordered from them twice, a total of 8 10mls and 3 full-sized bottles. I found longevity to be between moderate and excellent with the fragrances I've tried. I also found their customer support to be excellent. I mistakenly thought I had an issue with my order, e-mailed them, and I received a polite response back within an hour. ( My experiences have been with the U.S. store.)
#smellyarmy a clone outfit i can actually get behind due to the superb handling of their UK operation. the solid perfumes are also fantastic especially for fresh frags like Zion where top notes can burn off quicker. don't forget DAN20 still good for 10% discount, courtesy of some youtube guy ;p

Arabian Forest is pure class...smells so warm and smooth, just a wonderful fragrance.
