another great blog.Loved the sand dunes. are there other bars near the hotel that have live music on? apart from the one just outside with the cabaret acts on. Are the pools heated?. can't wait for day 5.
Ooh yes the dunes are ace! Really nice to explore somewhere different like that. There are other bars around the hotel but Cafe del Mar was definitely the main one for cabaret acts. The other bars didn’t really offer any live entertainment. BUT we didn’t explore every single one so I couldn’t say for sure.
The pools are heated but I wouldn’t say they are really warm. Having said that, they weren’t cold. The phrase I would use is ‘refreshing’. So it may feel slightly cool as you step in but we weren’t ever in there feeling ‘cold’ at all.
@@Wussey thank you for your great info on my questions.
Good morning boys. I loved your videos and you have inspired my partner I to go to the same resort and fwe are lying out this Monday. I was wondering how far you have to walk to the beach to get a sun~bed and if you know how much they charged for one? and did you ever swim in the sea? and if so was it very stoney underneath your feet? Also could you tell me if there are any good bars outside the resort that is worth visiting that you both liked? We have recently returned from our holiday at the Gran Bahia Del Duque Hotel in Costa Adeje in Tenerife ( worth a look ) so we know the general routine of the resort but the drinks were rather pricey saying that the measures were very generous and was wondering if it is the same in this resort too. Thanks guys for your helpful and fun vids regards from a dreary and wet Manchester Jo & Derek :-)
Guys is it worth doing half board or better to eat out in the evening?
I think it really depends on what your plans are. We didn’t eat out anywhere for breakfast or dinner because we were half board and so wanted to make the most of it. Also, we didn’t really do much exploring as we just loved staying at the hotel so much - so we never found ourselves away from the hotel for dinner time. ❤️
