There’s definitely some when the transparency mode is on and at the max.

Got these and returned them. Prefer the sound of the JBL Tour Pro 3. The AZ100 was lacking in clarity and detail.

Fair. I'm not an audiophile but after dozens of earbud reviews, I find there aren't any true "best" and even buds that are wildly accepted as great might not be for some.
