Dude was so good at being balanced and patient
Like LeVeon but in the 2000s
As a then 12 year old UCLA fan who wanted to see his team win ONE more game to be able to play for a national championship, I'll NEVER forget this game and performance from Edge.
Ridiculous performance. Portis was great, McGahee was a monster in ‘02, Gore was special as a freshman and Duke was amazing too. There have been some great Miami RBs over the years but Edge is probably still the standard. Vision, balance, power, toughness, blocking, catching, acceleration and good long speed. He had it all.
I'm convinced this game got him drafted ahead of Ricky Williams
I totally forgot UCLA had a 17 pt lead going into the 4th.
