Jimmy makes TH-cam WAY too much money and has an audience of children who don’t understand nor care about what’s going on behind the scenes. And too many people are willing to sell their souls for a feature in a Mrbeast video to boost their own channel’s numbers. New children will keep coming onto TH-cam and be fed his videos via recommendations and his numbers will even out when the aging audience figures out how fucked up his business is and leaves. It’s a disgusting cycle of mass manipulation of an audience of millions and millions of kids.

my only exposure to mrbeast was involuntary (frequent collabs with other youtubers i watch). i always noticed that jimmy doesn't smile with his eyes ever it's freaky. also the cgi and editing in his videos were blatant but i didn't know he was such a garbage human being... having the money for good PR and crisis management can do wonders i guess

A few reasons as to why Mr. Beast won't "fall off" is because:
1. This will barely reach half his audience.
2. The audience it will reach will be divided because of Mr. Beast apologists and supporters.
3. TH-cam is 100% on his side, can't drop their biggest creator.

4. Much of his audience are kids who doesn't know much. And he attracts more kids who lack knowledge and comprehension.
Also since his audience is kids so I dont think they pretty much care if mrbeast vids are scripted or something cause they watch him for entertainment

Also want to clarify here in Australia it is much easier to advertise gambling to minors as there are no bans or rules on ads like this. Our politics even have been caught trying to hid 'donations' from gambling schemes to PREVENT a bill being created that will limit the amount of minors who will see these ads. I would say it's no coincidence why they chose Australia.
There is a bill being debated atm but I think they'd put this into the category of 'competition' rather than gambling. Saying that though the competition seems to involve playing a pokie game which is dodgy. As far as I know gambling ads are not allowed to be broadcast during the hours children watch TV/Cable. Edit: (The reason to me that it isn’t satisfying to me is because of the fact that Mr. Beast was essentially for a long time known for being a very great and charitable guy. I’ve only seen a small handful of his videos and I never really cared about them so I had no red flags about him. The only thing was in a lot of videos they seem super staged… I also just generally don’t like a lot of TH-camrs just coming out as horrible people, and all of July we’ve gotten so many back to back…

As a father of an 8 year old boy who loves/loved Mr Beast, this has been an interesting and difficult situation to navigate. I think if I didn’t say anything, my son would continue to watch Beast vids blissfully unaware of any of these allegations. However, I’ve taken it upon myself to explain (to some degree, at that age he obv doesn’t need all the details) that Mr Beast has done some bad things and that we won’t be watching anymore. It’s actually been a good opportunity for me to talk with him about a lot of things…why we should avoid idolizing anyone, how people can do good things for bad reasons and how oftentimes people aren’t just “good” or “bad” - there’s bad people who’ve done good things and there’s good people who’ve done bad things.

Agreed. I think people are really simplifying this "iPad kid" issue. The issue is not that I let my 8 year old use the family iPad for gaming and videos, it's being unaware of what is going on in their lives. People who don't let their children use the internet but will allow them to make friends with just whomever they happen to run into are just as guilty of not engaging with their children in order to keep them as safe as possible. It's our job as parents to be aware and engaged with what they are experiencing, to guide them in proper caution, judgement, and critical thinking. They are just children, after all, as we all once were. Mr. Beast is an important teaching moment for my son, as I'm sure he is for yours: when someone seems to be giving away something that's too good to be true, ask yourself: who is benefiting and how? Where does the money come from? Is there another reason someone would like me to like them other than just good nature? Is this chance worth it if I lose? Am I supporting behavior that will ultimately hurt me or the society I live in? They are important questions with complicated answers, and they are worth talking about.

Only I was drunk myself, and we started flirting after i rushed over asking her if she needed help after falling and afterwards just kept talking and flirting. I didn't even try to get to her room cause i had prior obligations but I agreed to go with her (a second time btw, first time was to show her room (alledgedly) but we were in a group and they urged to go to the bar instead) so the second time she immediatly demanded i take of my clothes, I am autistic as hell, I know what going to a room implies but i never had it turn out like this either. ....
I'l spare you the rest but remember that even when you didn't do anything extreme you could simply be deemed guilty without a trial or offcourse be found guilty whilst inocent. (like him or hate him the recent case against Trump regarding events that alledgedly happened decades ago with litterally no witnesses, no evidence and not even the alledged victim remembering important details like the day, the place, the occasion,.... but still he was found guilty. Then there are actual terrible people who abused a position of power to sell opportunity for segsual favours but despite this being clearly wrong it wasn't R either which is why weinstein's case is being or has allready been overturned. His alledged victims were not forced, nothing was actually taken for them for not complying but they would lose out on opportunity if they refused, scummy but the women that did refuse are perhaps the ones that got it worst, they didn't sell their dignity but those who did were suddenly heroes???

Sunny V2 didn't predict shit, his video was transphobic and Ava was always a shitty person. MrBeast downfall was his own from his weird scam ways and his alleged horrible care of ppl in his weird games.

All of this is happening because Mr. Beast's original fandom has finally reached adulthood, and they are now realizing that he is the biggest scammer in the history of TH-cam. This is something adults have known since day one.
Facts. Always thought something was off with the guy. I’m well into my 30’s tho. His content was for people well below my demographic. Kids will continue to watch him though, he’s not going anywhere. I only keep an eye on it because I find it interesting. His fake philanthropy is all a mask for who he really is.

I always felt like he was doing all of it for personal gain just for the fact he studied the most liked TH-cam videos and whatever for a whole year just to gain subscribers quickly. Statistically he's made the world a better place for having been on it, with the amount of people he's helped. Leave emotion out of it and it becomes easier to see he's a positive force in the world by helping more people than say, I ever could.

I think the most polarizing thing about Jimmy's channel is how it began as a bunch of friends who made videos themselves to a soulless corporate broadcasting company while still trying to portray it as a bunch of friends who make videos.
AND when they made that transition, they didn't do what actual corporations do and follow safety laws, hire safety people for the sets, etc. They took the corporate money but didn't do the due diligence to earn it.
