Hey Kiddo, my brother on his dying bed helped me learn about the battle of addiction. Hearing your song Somebody's Someone, really made me even more aware that whether it's addiction or a problem with mental health issues, like depression that I suffer from we are all Somebody's Someone. I am so glad that I got to see you in person on the same day that you played this song at Paste Studios. Hearing you siing this song in person and seeing the passion you have for your songs, but more inportantly, seeing the passion that you have in raising awareness to addiction and mental health issues, made me an instant fan of yours. I have now met you a few times and now am one of your biggest fans. Thank you also, for the gift of not only your music, but to your group site where we can all share our stories, find support from others and also ecourage others to continue to stay strong and fight their demons. Exactly how I feel
I have shadows I would like to forget but they hang long n heavy around my neck. I tried to be the good girl and lost the war on my soul-- but I have turned my life around and yet regret is a heavy burden, I am sorry my loves for when I let you down. I am here now to make amends and make things sound. I posted this with this song that speaks to the evils I have done and regret and wish to amend.
