- CCS Toys Gurren Lagann (グレンラガン) Review
Gurren Lagann turned out to be absolutely fantastic! The sculpt is well done, the paint apps are crisp, we have a great amount of diecast content, the accessories are fantastic and Gurren Lagann is fully posable. I love CCS Toys take on Gurren Lagann and I absolutely recommend picking this figure up!

fantastic review! Congratulations ! I wanted to ask you if it was true that there was some difficulty in removing the rear skirt to insert the base rod that supports it? Many have said that taking off the skirt can break. Can you tell me something about it? Thank you,

Welcome back! I'm still reviewing Godzilla stuff.
The old Konami is still my favourite in terms of sculpt and anime accuracy, the lines are smooth, simple like the anime. As a display piece it's beautiful. Sentinel ver was o.k, but small, light and overpriced for its scale, the Src version had odd proportions.... The CCS version is too 'busy'.
Following that 'over-modernising' classic designs trend...
Don't hate it, as I like the character, but not blown away either. Supa low die-cast content too..
Kinda like that modern take on Mechander from 5Pro/Blitzway...Sure you can (just about) recognise the character,, but it's too detailed, ending up like looking an OTT Gundam custom kit with parts of the original vintage toy stuck here and there. :-/
i personally dont like this figure, its just the overall fleshy organic look, i mean the concept is great but it would've been nice if they made it anime accurate.
