  • This presentation explores migration and settlement patterns in Colonial Georgia, focusing on what brought people to the southeast, resistance to newcomers, and shifts in settlement as the Colonial era closed. This Lunch and Learn will feature documents and images from the Georgia Archives' collections and offer tips for researching our colonial records holdings.

Great job with lots of information. You did a wonderful job fielding spontaneous questions. You are broadly informed about the history and the Archives response to the questions. You did well explaining what records could not be found and why according to the purpose of the
Archive, as well as directing the questioner to other resources.

He keeps calling this person Tomachichi, but everywhere else, where he didn't write it, it's Tomachachi. Names are important, to respect people, and so that everyone knows who you're talking about.
