    This is one of the vehicles i would want to have in the zombie apocalypse honestly. Reliable, easy to work on, comfortable, and a lot of room. Spartan gas tanks makes a 30 gal gas tank for these. (Made for long distance/desert state troopers back in the day) I think they claim 489miles on a single tank.

    Probably the best video reviewing a lifted crown vic. Love it! Wish I could have seen that jump at normal speed. Haha

    I did the same lift on my 2008 CVPI except I used Ford Police Expedition springs on the rear and it was completely worth it.
    I can't believe how good the action shots you have in this video,they were really impressive!!!!

      What year expedition? You just replaced the springs without the spacers in the rear?

    • @skeetermcswagger0U812

      I believe it was an 2007 to 2010 expedition and I originally used them without the spacers which was stiff enough but not quite as tall as I wanted so I use the spacers with the Springs later.

    Just lifted mine yesterday, getting the alignment done tomorrow. Bought the same kit you got but didn’t end up using it, just replaced with OEM parts from different vehicles.

    OK..My daughter goes to ISU and I live up in the Capital city and own a 2008 P71 from Boise City PD and this was the first video I am looking at to lift the Vic. I love BFG KO2''s but would entertain something for less money. I have a set of 16" wheels from a 2006 and the 17" that came with the 2008. I still have the mounting for the front push bar..so yes you need lights and a push bar up front.

    • @bridgerandres5990

      i live in the Isu area actually and i went pretty cheap on the tires just because of my highschooler budget but they are 245/75/r16s

    How are the stock front shocks doing while jumping?
    Does is hop After the landing?
    Do you know some coilovers for the front that can handle going offroad?(maybe still with the lift kit spacers to keep the suspention soft)

    I’m in Australia and would like to know if the crown Vic is the only sedan with a seperate chassis?

    • @bridgerandres116
      @bridgerandres116  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car were all built on the Panther platform which is body on frame.

    • @robertlewis1965
      @robertlewis1965 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chevy made body on frame Impala, Caprice until 1996 , I believe the last 2 door Caprice was built in 1987 . ( I have 4 two door cars 1977 -81 )

    • @garryrichardson4572
      @garryrichardson4572 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. In Australia we had the WB Holden I believe the sedan and wagon had monocoque but the Ute and panel van were seperate chassis in the same model that was 1980 ish after that we had choice of commodore or falcon both monocoque.

    Too bad it's not a 4X4 !

    • @bridgerandres116
      @bridgerandres116  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We have a 4x4 Silverado, if needed, but it does not ride like a Crown Vic. For flying down dirt roads out in the desert or exploring old logging or mining roads, this is the more enjoyable ride. Look at the vehicles that win the big cross country off-road races like the Baja 1000. A lot of them are two-wheel drive. When you're flying along at 60 mph over the pot holes and bumps, you don't need four-wheel-drive.
