Bold move. I love farming and have been a farmer all my life though I have lived in USA for over 3 decades and counting. I come from tea zone in rural Kenya. I’ve been phone-farming ever since I came to US, albeit small scale. I planted tea in my inherited piece, bought a 3 acre farm nearby where I grow avocados, and have kept poultry in a nearby town. Part of my motivation is to never be unattached to my roots, and to support job creation in my motherland. The little I do gives me tremendous satisfaction especially when I meet my workers. Now, as retirement from formal employment knocks at my door, the door I left unlocked in Africa awaits. I plan on joining you in agribusiness-growing as well as processing-value addition. It gives me great pleasure to know, God willing, I’ll end where I started.
There are plenty of ways to invest in this country.... I personally have partners who invested after watching the TH-cam video I posted asking for investment. I have taken that video down from the public and I think there's plenty of opportunities to go around if you have the appetite for high return with a good dose for high risk as well. The investors who believed in me have never been to Malawi, let alone come to Africa in their entire life...they did it anyway.
