There's an old sonic anime film that looks just like this. I think it's on TH-cam in full dub. I used to own it on vhs.
Go back to the beginning, when cartoons had NO VOICE, just music, and plot-important things were explained on a screen you had to read.

I’ve always really loved how much of a love letter to fans this intro animation is, I love returning to this trailer for fun to watch it again after I first saw it years ago right before the launch of Sonic Mania. I’ve always been a very casual Sonic fan since childhood since I’ve always been a hardcore Mario fan ever since I was a child, but I did always love watching Sonic X on cable Saturday mornings and I loved playing Sonic Rush on my DS when I was a little.

Wanna know my favorite part of this trailer...its this 1:27. i dunno, its just something about this part that just reminds me so much of the original personalities of sonic and his other 2 buds, the smug look on sonics face is classy and makes it clear that he's very confident in himself, I also like how knuckles isn't portrayed as a complete and sensless dummy and meets sonics grin with a confident smile of his own, and as for tails, well he looks really happy just being there, helping to save the world with his best freinds and seems as cheerful as always. This animation certainly does convey alot of emotions, but above all of them I think we can all agree that nostalgia is the strongest of them all : )

Some arcades have a game called Blue Spheres that come from sonic 3
Sonic had a secret mode named "Blue Spheres" which was essentially the special stage, however, it randomly generates the level each time, meaning there was endless stages.
This Blue Spheres mode made it into some arcades as a standalone, as you could play for the rest of your life but never see a duplicate stage.

Ahh Sonic as he was in a simpler time were speeding through stages, smashing badniks, and stopping Robotnick was all we needed to define Sonic. As opposed to Modern Sonic going from being a Werewolf in one game, to wielding sword in Medevil Times, to racing on hoverboards in the next.

Sonic Mania started as a fan game called Sonic Discovery...they showed Studiopolis Act 1 to Sega and Sega asked them to work on it officially
It started as pitch to submit to Sega. If Sega didn't accept, they weren't going to keep working on it. There's nothing "Fan made" about this.

Rewatching this, it’s actually quite clever, the elevator instead of showing only numbers, shows the initials of each game, 1,2,3,K, and M. And this game showed there was still a market for the classic games. Without it, we wouldn’t have gotten both Superstars and Origins
I love the art style for their game. It resembles back to the good old 90s SEGA Era. As a Sonic Fan, I am so very hyped for their game. Good times for us Sonic fans.

This is the Nintendo youtube channel, they will show the release trailer for the Switch, and that's it. That's always how it's been with multiplatform games. The other company channels can put a trailer on their own channel to do the same.

Flaxsis i dunno if u like lived on a rock till today or something like that but Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Heroes, Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations and Sonic Lost World (not counting the Wii exclusive Storybook series and other spinoffs as well as Sonic playable in Smash bros and the Mario & Sonic series) dont seem to Ring a single Bell to you unless your playin me for a fool and the comment im replying to was nothing but a joke. Also Sony and Microsoft got Sonic on Playstation, Xbox and PC too so saying that Sonic bein a Sega exclusive despite Sega already bein out of Console Market Business and being a third Party developer sounds pretty dumb to me since i just happen to know Sonic and Segas history good enough to know that.
