      So I'm stupid now? @Aiden Fisher, do you normally just insult total strangers in passing? 🤔

    • @Riqtube
      @Riqtube 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Aiden Fisher ignorant and stupid are not the same thing. Do you have any proof that Cecep & Yayan have trained him?

    • @Riqtube
      @Riqtube 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Aiden Fisher So ignorance is "not knowing/not being in the know". You ASSUME I do not know, but you fail to realize is the FMA & Silat communities are family so they often share between teachers (regardless of region). You made comments from an ASSUMPTION that because a teacher is from Brunei that he didn't teach someone from another country (ignorance). Stupid is "making unwise decisions". You have shown alot of childish character by name calling a total stranger whom you have never met...knowing you would not do this to a person standing in front of you (people would call THAT stupid).
      Ignorance:
      - You do not even know my name.
      - You bash someone knowing for knowing a style of a teacher when he sees it and claim someone stupid and ignorant for posting an observation of it....but you do the same and say "google it". You're being a hypocrite and if you're not going to be respectful, you should stop the insults. I'm above the name calling, someone who uses "d" instead of "the" should be careful throwing stones...especially to other FMA/Silat teachers.

    • @Riqtube
      @Riqtube 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Aiden Fisher didn't delete any replies, I think that's the moderator. I haven't even been on my phone, but someone could say the same about you pitching insults for no reason as a last ditch effort to try and drive your point. Hope you enjoy your training, goodnight.

      @@brentjaynumbaddo3030 Thanks for answering a question i put almost 1year back... That i know.. Now i also know that all 3 are different terms of more or less the same art form. Arnis n Escrima are Spanish names n Kali is the indigenous name as used in different parts of Philippines.. Pekiti Tirisia Kali is one of the oldest art forms... and Penchak Silat is the MArt form of Indonesia n Malaysia mostly with an Islamic followers/background but also having Buddhist origins.. As far as I understand, the root meaning of this name Pencak Silat comes from Buddhism's core concept of Pancha Shil which means 5 stones/virtues... Kali n Silat are very similiar styles in concept... 👍👍

    This is unrealistic. Nobody is going to stand there and let you do your little twisty jabs and turns. This is for the movies and Hollywood stunt scenes. I have seen real fights where these "martial arts masters" have been hurt badly. It reminds me of the self defense classes for women to fight off an attacker. It creates a false sense of security. In a real fight, this man would probably be injured or killed. I like his dedication and it is probably good exercise.

      This is called demos you ass. This are just moves for you to practice on to get the feel of your opponents pressure. It's up to you to improvise it in realistic situations. I was trained in arnis by the way and I know what I'm talking about.
