    I think this video is excellent, in every way Yana (beautiful photo layouts and commentary as well)! How intelligent of you to not only give us all the many ways to use our gorgeous Nuvo drops in one video, but to also share many of the STUNNING cards you created that are on your blog only and not shared in a TH-cam tutorial (especially when many of us YT viewers rarely visit blogs). I've said it before and you continually prove it over and over again, YOU are the best card creator out there AND have the best educational channel with respect to same (and I watch daily an abundance of the top YT Channels of the best paper crafters). You are my mentor dear and I'll never be able to thank you enough. Take care, Yana, and until next time....

      Nancy Lynn I’m going to try that technique with the stencil. I have at least 30 colors of these.

    Thanks so much. I forget to use my Nuvo drops, and you have inspired me to pick up a bottle and make drops!! You may have already done so and I missed it, but I would like to see a short video on how to make drops round and without a curl on top!! Mine often end up looking like chocolate kisses!! :)

      It sounds you just need to unclog the nozzle. Just remove it from the bottle, soak it in warm water, use a needle or smth and unclog it. Works every time for me when u start getting issues

    Your cards are simply lovely and thank you so much for the suggestions on the many ways that Nuvo Drops can be used to embellish cards. I discovered the drops a few months ago and so far the only thing I've used them for are flower centers. But after watching your video I'm excited to make more cards using your techniques!

    FABULOUS IDEAS, Yana! ;) It is always NICE TO KNOW little ideas like this to enhance our card making! THANK YOU!!! I tried the technique, Filling in small stamped areas recently.... I just kept going, as I didn't like what I had done from the beginning. Filling in all the little spaces with Nuvo Drops & lastly, filling the negative space with the Nuvo Glitter Drops.... It looks like Tapestry or Stained Glass! ;)

    These ideas are wonderful Yana. The problem I'm having is, when the drops are dry I store the card in a box. When I go to use the card, the drops are flat. Any ideas why this happens or tips to avoid it. Thanks so much for your input.

    Fabulous ideas thank you. I am having issues with some of my Nuvo Drops thickening up and not being able to be squeezed properly from the bottle. They are about a year old but kept in a cupboard. Does anyone reading this have any ideas how to stop this happening? I’d like to buy more colours, but think there’s not much point. I have a dozen or so, half have thickened. Thanks.

    I mail a lot of cards, so I like to keep a stash of them on hand. Every time I store cards with Nuvo drops on them, they flatten out in the middle. This always happens even though I let them dry for several days before storing them. I also make sure that the drops are not very large. Very frustrating.

    • @annienigro4624
      @annienigro4624 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marty Shipley me too. I’ve let them dry for a month and they still flatten when put anything on top of them. I broke down and bought enamel dots.

    How long do these drops take to dry? Average time of course as it also depends on size, I assume. 😉

    • @Yana.Smakula
      @Yana.Smakula  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In about 30 minutes they are dry to the touch. But best to leave them overnight

    Great video.... I have trouble getting my nuvo droplets to dry hard enough to stack my cards... I let them dry a day and over night before stacking.... The top of the bubble flattens.. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks :>)

    Hi, Sis. I'm new to using Nuvo Drops and wanted to know how long do the dots take to dry completely?

    • @Yana.Smakula
      @Yana.Smakula  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      About 24 hours. But if you put something heavy on top - they will flatten slightly

  • @ThePattysc
    @ThePattysc 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How long do they take to dry -- how well do they do when the card is mailed -- is there any suggesting when mailing?...thanks.

    • @Yana.Smakula
      @Yana.Smakula  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I leave mine overnight to dry. They are usually dry to the touch in about 20 minutes (depending on the size of the drops and the humidity in the room). Very big drops get flatten a bit, but small drops mail no problem. Lets see if anyone has any tips/suggestions as I am honestly terrible at mailing cards and don't have much experience.

      I save my bubble envelopes that I receive ordered items in. I cut them to slightly smaller than the card front and use to protect my card.
      They might take a few more pennies to mail, but isn't your work worth it, and the person receiving the card gets an undamaged gift.
      Thank you for your beautiful work, you are among my favorite artists. Thank you. 🙋‍♀️💖💖💖

      You'd be surprised at how useful packaging can be for use in our crafty projects, either for mailing or for creating. I keep clear bubble wrap to include with dimensional cards when mailing, acetate that I cut down to manageable sizes and store in a job ticket holder, and even certain acetate packaging that I feel is the right size to hold a set of cards. I even have 'acetate shaker windows' that are just like the MFT Shaker Pouches that I've cut from packaging that are your typical shapes like squares, circles and rectangles. I can't express enough how handy this has been...not only are you saving money but in a small way you are contributing to a healthier environment.

    What is the difference between Crystal drops and Jewel drops?

    • @PaintsandGlitter
      @PaintsandGlitter 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crystal drops have more opacity, and Jewel drops are translucent when dry.
