Originaly penned in 1580 in the form of, "A New Courtly Sonnet of the Lady Green Sleeves". A top 10 classic for that period I understand. Mind you, there are 18 verses to the original song.
So, that's one of the oldest songs known in the European tradition, Greensleeves. They did a tasteful, respectful, update of the basic melody.

You get the feeling the 3rd rendition is where Band Maid would have wanted to start with, and progress from there.
It is a video game tie-in - an adaptation of Greensleeves - and they were presumably somewhat limited by the brief.
