"You Should Thank Me" is great when defending against a higher initiative ship, even if you are fully charged. You can focus for your action, defend, use the condition card for a free target lock, then attack at your initiative fully modded. Sometimes this is better than taking 2 shots with only 1 mod, such as against 3 agility ships at range 3, etc.
I have two questions, one is already made by another user: Is Zam standing within an arc if she is: 1. At range 0 of another ship 2. Within range 3 of an ion or dorsal turret?
I knew about the scum trick to recharge Zam, but after reading all the cards you showcased, if you cancel all results, does the Zam carrier REALLY defend? I get you were selected as the defender, but you never did defend...
Well, people seem to be cutting corners when it comes to rolling defense dice against no hits. Using Munitions failsafe does not cancel performing the entire attack, just the attack dice results, Torkil would still roll his defense dice against no results. This would also get rid of a potential strain token on him. I always try to roll the defense dice every time just to keep it consistent, even if there were no hits or crits incoming.
@@beatpeitsi6853 yeah as much as I don’t like how it works, while thinking about it more, you are correct that the attack isn’t cancelled, just the results, so it’s as if you had rolled a 0 dice attack
I hate this card, I really really do. I noticed this card is insanely over powered and most players that use this card win games. I wish this card/ability costed a lot more...like literally

This was great thanks. I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around zam for a while.
Best description of this ability so far! Great work!
Thanks for the video. Yesterday played her as crew first time and now I understand her better.
Also notice that both condition cards allow you to make a bonus attack - they're not limited to bonus "primary" attacks . . .
Thank you! I was getting so confused by this card.
I like that little combo at the end there
I should thank you for this! Great explanation!
Thanks, have been waiting for.a guide on Zam 👍
Turret upgrades add an arc, If you sit at range 3 of it you're still in the arc right?
I see what you did there with the "Quick" being crossed out on the Thumbnail... *looks at watch*... This is definitely a Quality Tip!
Excellent tutorial! Thank you!
Dose that work with jamming beam?
Why wouldn't?
Yes

1. Yes. 2. Yes.
cool plz more videos like that!!!!!
It would have been cool if you'd also explain how you can select the hidden condition without your opponent being able to look at it in TTS....
Isn't there an obscured area anymore?
Great tutorial but am I the only person transfixed by the boxes behind you.

What's there to understand except that she shouldn't have been printed lmao
about 8 points would be appropriate for her crew.
pilot should also be at least 5 points more
I hope the game won't have too many cards like this.
Extra bonus tip about Zam crew: she's only 4 points. Yes, really. If your list can have Zam but doesn't, you should think twice.
