Oh boy, hearing this again with the current happenings in the Manga... I hope Boris will be as awesome as Boros. It's insane to think about how long the Dark Matter Thieves were at the top, and now they seem like nothing in comparison.
I’m hoping he’s stronger than him for sure. Blast did fine against Garou who has already surpassed Boros and if Boris works with him I’d say he’s probably also stronger than Boros. No way to tell until they give him a full introduction and he sheds his armor. He, along with two others and Blast, were able to all divert the massive energy of two Serious Punches away from the planet. I doubt Boros would have had that capability even in a teamup with similarly strong characters to him. I’ve always been a big fan of this character so by no means do I think Boris or anyone else surpassing him is a bad thing. For all we know...it could be Boros himself and Blast saved him (for some reason) after Saitama left.

I really want an ova about young boros getting stronger and him slowly building up his crew of alien buddies and them just raiding alien planets and boarding warships, with Boros growing more and more disillusioned until the last scene of the ova, where they hear the prophecy and starts searching for earth. Like in my opinion the little dialogue we have among the dark matter thieves make them sound really close, unlike most “you have failed me for the last time” kind of villains or the guys who all distrust eachother like the monster association. I am almost sure mezagrad refers to Geryuganshoop as “my dear” or “ my dear friend”, I just really like the idea of four being veterans and close comrades figthing many battles besides Boros and building up respect for each other. Plus the tree figthing together and creating synergies between their attacks could lands us amazing scenes, just imagined Geryuganshoop using Groribas acid to create an acid tornado, or Geryunganshoop launching Groribas and Melzagard with his telekinesis, just coolnes all around. It will never happen but it would be kind of cool.

Boros, will always, be my favorite character, hik and the dark matter thieves were just the best 2 episodes for me, and still are
