This motorcycle helmet chin mount was not well designed!

I bought this motorcycle helmet chin mount on Temu. I had to return it. Good idea but the mount plates are hard and straight. They don't mold to the shape of the helmet--well, not completely! A complete fail. I think I'll have to remove the foam and clean the surface before applying 3M doube-sided tape...maybe that will work.
I found out later there is a company that makes chin mounts that will fit perfectly on to your specific helmet: chinmounts.com/. I'm not endorsed whatsoever by Chin Mounts. Just a PSA. Cheers!
